I was on Lisa’s wavelength today! Actually I was debating on donating the white dress but decided that it will be useful for AZ at some point. I have mixed feelings about eyelet on me but I decided to keep for now. It’s airy, cotton but still covered albeit a little short…

Most days I just throw on a variation of my uniform which is great because it’s so easy (and I can save all of my creative energy for work triage.) I’ve been taking OOTD pics when I remember—to help me do some editing. It’s a slow process but it helped me get rid of some pieces that aren’t my style anymore. (I’m honestly tired of my work clothes but I’m hoping to wind things down soon—so am not spending in that department.) Looking forward to rotating in some different pieces for fall—but we’ll see how that goes! Thanks for looking!
ETA: Oreo. She gave the thumbs up to my new espadrilles! Haha!

The white dress is super cute on you - especially with your white wrist watch and colorful espadrilles ( keep the dress! ).
Nice casual looks with a lot of variety - mine is almost minimal by comparison . I like khaki pants in #2-3 a lot - barrel like shape is so fun. Love the last pic!

You always look stylish, Kelly. Great outifts, and super cool new espadrilles. I really like the white eyelet dress on you and hope you keep it. I like that it is an easy, boxy shape, opposite of frilly, so it's a style that works against the sweetness of the eyelet.

You have good variety in colour and silhouette here. Great summer footwear too. I think the two in photo 2 are my most favourite though.

I also like the white dress. A pretty easy dress for a hot day.

I knew you were considering Arizona but must have missed that it is happening!

The white eyelet looks perfect for summer heat. Also what SHARAN said rings true. Not a usual frilly eyelet! Really fab items you have here and have made fab outfits with them. Hello cute Oreo. Espadrilles are cute too.

Sharan makes a great point about the eyelet dress. I agree it looks really nice on you . Love the closed-toe Maryjanes (?) - I'm eyeing some different-to-me footwear this fall and quite like this silhouette. I'm also tired of my work wardrobe but hesitant to add to it- I hope to cut my hours way back by July next year.

Looking stylish in a cute collection of outfits. The eyelet dress is pretty on you but I kind of understand what you mean about eyelet, I'm not so sure its quite me when I wear it but as you say with AZ weather it could serve you well. Always love an espadrille, Oreo has good taste.

1 - *high five for white* The white dress is lovely on you I'm glad you're keeping it.

2 - The striped crossover top is a lovely mix of colors and pairs beautifully with the cut off denim.

3 - Fun asymmetric white top here, paired with a skirt for a summer look. And this skirt looks like it can transition well into fall with the darker colors if paired with a dark top.

4 - You wear barrels so well and the floral popover blouse has some fun colors to it.

5 - I adore your skirt game, this white tiered skirt is excellent with the sandals and simple top. This is such a lovely summer outfit.

6 - This salmon (on my screen) color is lovely on you.

7 and 8 - Two excellent jeans and tops pairings here. I'd sport both these outfits.

9 - The white top is effortless paired with the lighter wash denim.

10 - This is my favorite outfit of the group. The mustard color paired with black is lovely and the shape of the top and the pants really elevates this casual outfit for a perfect fall look.

11 - The new espadrilles are very pretty. And give Oreo a pet for me. Such a sweetie!

@Slimcat - Lol. Mine are more minimal than yours, I think. I am missing a third piece—darn those hot flashes! The barrel khakis were a good purchase - I’ve enjoyed being able to change things ups from bootcut!

@Sharan, Sal and Lise: Thank you! You expressed what I kind of felt (but was unable to express) about the more boyish cut of the dress balancing the sweetness of the eyelet. I’m liking it more and more!

@Robin and LJP: Thank you. I never really liked traditional MJ shoes (they remind me of my corrective shoes I wore when I was young) but I needed something with a covered toe for work. These Danskos are great - wide enough and don’t slip off my heel. A three season shoe for me. And they seem to work with everything which has been pleasantly surprising!

@Cookie: Oreo say HI! Looks like I’m in good shoe company! What colors do you have? They’re so comfy, aren’t they!

The eyelet dress just looks great on you, and the espadrilles are super cute. The white skirt outfit is also great on you. Actually they all are, but the long pants look too warm. That’s just me because it’s been hot here and I can’t imagine wearing long pants.

Kelly, can you put some small shoulder pads in the white eyelet dress, then the shoulder will fit better, and if feels a bit short, thus you have great legs- then you can team up with some short white leggings, too-just peaking 1-2 inch from under.
I loved the skirted outfits and I took some inspo from those with the non-jeans pants-love how they fit here on you especially. Jeans are not my thing so I cannot really relate but...where are your summer cowboy boots???:-) Think using a tan one will also solve length problem with the eyelet dress, too!!

With a move to Arizona in your future, I'd for sure keep the lightweight items! You will need them.

Thanks, JAileen, Merman, Brooklyn, Suz and Laurie: Jeans are my go to and I'm glad that they don't look as boring as they can feel to me. I will try not to take the for granted anymore. They're year round for me in CA, so I'll try to enjoy them while I can.
@Indigoprint: Thank you. I was surprised at how versatile a plain white tee with an interesting detail could be. It goes with so many things.

@Lyn: Yes! I was just thinking about pulling out the cowboy boots. I think they're trending again. I appreciate your idea about adding a small shoulder pad-just not sure I can fit anything in there comfortably. My shoulders take up almost all of the real estate under the sleeve cap!
