A few days ago in a thread about shoes, April graciously offered to send me some shoes she had in my size that didn't fit her quite right. We exchanged some info and today I found a little package waiting for me on my front porch. I could not stop smiling from ear to ear as I carried it inside. My heart was truly overflowing with giddy amazement at the thought of April's openly giving spirit. I felt like Cinderella as I opened the package and slipped on the shoes to find they not only fit perfectly but they were gorgeous and utterly comfortable! I played in my closet, breathing new life into outfits that needed these shoes.
April's gesture really captures the genuinely positive vibes I get from the people who are part of this forum community. Her example of openly giving to me, a virtual stranger, speaks volumes about the kind of person she is.
