K/R/pick one leather jacket

I have been on the hunt for a leather jacket for what seems like forever. I recently bought two jackets at Nordstrom. The first is a Kenna-T in bottle green size small, the sleeves are long with a zipper at the end. The second is a Guess size PXS in black. It also has zippers on the sleeves but the length is better. Should I keep one of them or keep looking?

I prefer the first jacket, I like the collar detailing better on it.

I like the first one, even though the sleeves are a bit long. The collar on the second one is a little too large.

I agree the collar on #2 seems too large.

I am not sure your style, but of the two, I prefer #1.

I much prefer the first. Did you have your heart set on one of these two? Or the moto style? Or are you experimenting? If so I have some possible suggestions, if not I would go with #1.

I also prefer #1 if you can get the sleeves shortened.

I prefer #1 on you as well - it looks fabulous on you, and all you'd need to do is get the sleeves shortened. I also like that the colour (bottle green), looks almost black in photos - it'll be a lot more versatile than you think, and yet still a bit 'different' than the usual black.

No. 1 is nice enough, but something would have to be done about the sleeves.

I like the style of the first one - can they alter the sleeves? I know in Danier they will shorten the sleeves for $25 (zippers or not) - does Nordstrom do it too?

I prefer the first one. The fit through the body looks great--length too. The only thing that gives me pause are the wide/dramatic lapels. This seems like an investment piece and I would want to make sure it's perfect. Is this an every day jacket? Date night?

I don't find he colour or the collar flattering on #2. #1 seems to suit you better. Im not totally familiar with your style, but you look more comfortable in the first one.

I will see if they can shorten the sleeves. It definitely is more fun and edgy, The second one has a closer fit but the collar is wide. I like the quilt detailing on the second. This would be an everyday jacket, not for special occasions. I am looking for something versatile. I would describe my style as more edgy, not classic, trendy but not teenage, similar to via C and savvy style at Nordstrom. I would probably be a motorcycle chick if I was younger and did not have 5 kids at home.

I did not realize how tired I look, better get some make up on! But I did teach Bodypump 4 times in 5 days...

Alaskagirl I would love to hear your suggestions.

I am getting a bit frustrated as I have been looking for over a year. I do not want to spend much more (the second jacket is on sale for $300) but I do not think the perfect jacket exists unless I think about spending a whole lot more.

Okay so it's hard to tell, but you look like you have my IT upper body shape with more of a waist? And so I'd suggest something that sits a wee bit higher in the waist, and falls a bit looser, like this (as an example, I realize it's faux and juniors!):

I'm looking more at fit with these links. What do you think? I could be totally off the mark! Or maybe it's the sleeves that are throwing me off in the first pic.

I like the nordstrom one, I will have to see if they have that one near me. Yes I am an IT and I have no waist and no hips but a backside. In the first picture, the sleeves are down and in the second I scrunched them up.
The second one is a little two edgy for me and the third one is cute, nice color. I follow your posts all the time, don't always have time to comment or anything to add.

I like Una's suggestion that you liked too --- worth a shot.

Of these two, I love the look of the second (colour, hardware, quilting, shape), but the sleeve length and lapel size are giving me pause. I think the sleeve length is actually better with the scrunch in #1... but maybe I'm just not able to see the details as well because it's darker; and also, the colour does not look very green to me either. Do prefer that collar shape for you, though.
