Dear Fabbers,
I am in the process of expanding and/or refreshing my collection of blazers and jackets, mainly those I wear to the office.
This is a wool crepe checked fabric blazer. I like it because the quality of the fabric and the craftsmanship is excellent. The shape is quite fitted at the waist but the item is still rather fluid.
The pattern is unusual for me in a blazer - usually, I would reject it for me as too "masculine". But this one is feminine in the shape, accentuating the waistline and the bust slightly. It is also a little bit longer than my usual blazers, which is one of the reasons I ordered it - to somewhat modernize my blazer collection.

At first, I hesitated. Is  this really my style? A checked jacket, slightly longer, slightly sharper shoulders, is it too "mannish" for my style (even though I wear mostly trousers, my blazers are often quite lady-like or softer).
In the end, I like the fit a lot and I am strongly leaning towards keeping it, unless you guys give me the advice to return.

The styling here is super quick - just for the pictures. Black satin straight wider leg trousers, red chunkey heel pointy toe pumps, grey bag, silver strass earrings and a white silk scarf with som red in the pattern to pick up the red in the shoes. Dark red sunnies, grey bag.
Blazer - Escada
Silk blouse - Basler
Trousers - Escada
Red pumps - Zara
Silk scarf - inexpensive, no brand, outlet find
Bag - Tod's
Sunnies - Moschino.

What do you guys think? Keep or return? Does it fit well? Is the style good for my look? If I keep - any more interesting styling ideas?
Your feedback will be much appreciated as always.

ETA - I have added more pictures - feedback on fit would be much appreciated.
