K/R Zara pink sweater and Birks-esque sandals

AKA blatant Cocolion copycat.

You can really tell I'm built differently than Denise, and that I have a long torso--the sweater is borderline cropped on me.

Thoughts? I'm reserving my opinion for now.

(Ugh, can't wait until my haircut appointment next week!).

The colour is gorgeous on you. I think I would like it best if it was longer or shorter. It's kind of in limbo where it falls now.

Are the sandals comfy? They look cute.

The sandals pinch a bit across the tops of the feet but otherwise feel fab. Trying to figure out if I can adjust them or not.

I had a pair of fake birks once that did that and I got awful blisters on top of my foot -- that took months to heal.

Colour is absolutely stunning on you! Wow.

I'm not sure about the length. Try it with some jeans, too.

As for the sandals...the comfort is key. Try them in the house first.

I'm surprised by how much I love the colour. I'm unsure on the length/fit. I don't think the neckline, in particular, is very good.

I have an idea. Try it with a couple of skirts, too. My basic, first feeling was LOVE.

The colour is a fantastic one for a cool summer. I really, really would love to have it too, but I worry it would overwhelm me. I might order it regardless. I love that it is cotton.

I'm unsure about the length, but love the color. It seems a bit short for skinnies. Can you try it with BFs?

Shoes are cute, but I'm with Ceit on being cautious about the fit.

The length and neckline look fine to me (but I don't have a very discriminating eye about length - I'm learning). The color is GREAT. If you didn't end up keeping this sweater, I'd look for something else in the same color

The sandals look fine, but also look like another variation on the same theme that fits super comfortably could do just as well.

I'm on team try it with different bottoms before you decide. To me it looks like the length and style requires a little bit more volume on the bottom. The color is fantastic and the neckline is good. If you're like me, crew necks are hit and miss on me, this one looks like the opening is a bit more generous than some.
One more thing you could try is to wear a cami or tank underneath that just peaks out past the sweater, something in a light color. I do this sometimes, however, this may or may not be fashionable:-/

I have several types of slouchy/baggy pants (BF jeans, silk slouchy pants, the Trouve woven track pants that were an Angie pick) so I'll try it with those and with my pencil and flared leather skirts and try to get some pics. I'm out all day tomorrow, so it'll have to wait until Sunday, but I'll report back.

I love both. I do like sweater. It is that in the middle kind of length but I think it works. I think it would be fab with a skirt too.

Love the sweater - the color is stunning on you. Try with several bottoms (do you wear pencil skirts at all? Would be fab with that) but I think it's a keeper.

Love the look of the sandals too but only if they can be comfy. No one wants unhappy feet.

I like the swingy aspect but I would love it to be longer. Spring for the real Birks, there is a quality difference in my experience. Not that i'm a huge Birks fan (my hubby lives in them).

I slept on it and decided both items are going back. I'll keep an eye out for similar sandals that are more comfy, and other items in this shade of pink that make me feel more fab. No point in forcing something that isn't quite working. And this reminds me I still need to do that body proportions measurement exercise from Imogen's site--I'm pretty sure I have quite a long torso but want to confirm it.

The jumper looks short, so it should be worn as a cropped top. I don't think it works the way you have styled it here, but it has potential. We can explore those options if you like.
