Speaking of blatant copy-catting I ordered the ink-blue booties Angie and Suz have from Zara. I've been hunting for dressy, slightly punk/rock, refined ankle boots to wear with skirts and dresses and under pants and jeans for work for over a year. These are the closest I've come so far. The only other contenders at the moment are Rachel Comey's Mars boots, which look great but are massively more expensive and cause my heels to slip around.
They are on the snug side but they don't feel uncomfortable at all. I love the stable chunky heel paired with the refined pointy toe.
K/R? Shown styled as I'd wear them to work. Close-up shows the leggings tucked in on one boot and scrunched on top on the other, for the sake of testing how the neoprene cuff functions.
