K/R Wideleg Cropped Jeans (Update: Tags Off)

I almost never do k/r posts, but I think my eye might need help with these particular jeans because they’re a departure from my usual. They’re fitted through the hip and thigh and then wide starting just above the knee. Second question, if they’re a keep, should I chop the bottom for a raw hem?

Rear view is good, Jenn but I’m not keen on the whiskering on the front. Would need to see them styled with footwear to comment on length, but they do seem a smidge long. With the wide hem, I don’t know where you would hack for the raw hem, since the top line of the hem looks like it would be too short.

Wide leg jeans are in your future - but I don’t think these are the ones.

I think they look really good! I don't mind the whiskering, and the rear view looks awesome (always something I care about when buying jeans--I hate it when they space the pockets too far apart, or do other unsightly things). I am not too particular about the length of jeans, so I would think that hacking them to make them raw would be fab. I love a raw hem! If you liked them at that length but wanted a raw hem, alternatively you could let down the hem yourself and then hack to the perfect length.

my vote keep! they fit well on you, I would keep the hem as is, might be nice to wear with some of your chunky sandals. could always cut them later if you want a rougher vibe.

I have some similar jeans from Seven that I rarely wear that I think fit similar on me--its such a different silhouette Im not used to, you've inspired me to try them again. I like them best with a sandal, they feel kind of summery loose

They fit wonderfully! I like the longer length, and I think chopping above the current hem would make them a bit too short for my taste. Would you release the hem and then chop? I don’t love the distressing and whiskering, but that may just be personal preference. How do you feel about it? Do you get tired quickly of jeans with extra details like rips and fading, or will you wear them into the ground quickly enough that it doesn’t matter?

They fit you perfectly, and you look amazing in them. I like the distressing, etc. It is a personal thing. It adds texture and fits with your vibe, but that is my opinion. I like the length too.
