K/R white embossed floral moto

From Angie's Pinterest a while back. Worn glamorously over my nightgown and shot in my bathroom, with my toilet in a cameo role.

This is a size 6 and fits my shoulders and arms. Just not sure it is my style. Not sure what $ is to return to the UK, either.

Any thoughts?

It fits great and looks great, so if it is not part of your style, I hope you can find a way to work it in. Or, if not, to resell it pronto!

I agree - fits great! What is the style issue? The floral embossing? I was wondering on that myself, for mine that is on the way. I'm hoping it's subtle and a nice feminine touch to the somewhat tough moto style.

Yes it is the moto more than the floral that seems less you. But still, a very nice jacket. I am no help.

It fits beautifully and curiously your nightgown goes well with it.
Not very sure if it's your usual style because it is a bit more structured than the things I remember seeing you in. But it fits you very nicely. Maybe you can strech your boundaries a little bit?

Looks great to me, actually. Not open as that is just too symmetrical but closed it has a nice line (or three).

HOWEVER, not your ideal moto as I imagine the perfect one for you would hang in that architectural way when open and possibly include some mixed-media softness.

BUT that's not to say you can't or shouldn't find ways to use this.

PS: I am intrigued by the effusive bedroom shadow style!

Oh so great to see someone try it. I think t fits great. Can you style with some of your stuff to see if you can make an outfit you are happy to wear? I like to do that in the house and then take quick peeks at myself once in awhile to see how I feel about the look. Like forget then look. My response from those peeks tells me all I need to know. By the way, I am waiting for mine from DP...but I know the style is mine, nervous about the fit.

I'm not a moto girl, either, but I bought this one and love it! I think the white is fresh looking and the floral is so subtle but gives it a bit of texture. I'm planning to wear it with just about everything this fall.

I really like it on you. The fit is great, and the embossing looks subtle.

That said, it is a departure from your drapey looks, so I can see how this would be a surprising addition to your wardrobe. However, I think it could be brilliant to add a counterpoint of contrast and structure to your looks. The fact that is a bit architectural and has great texture does seem to fit your style well. I think you should play around with a bit -- sometimes an unexpected piece like this that grabs you ends up sparking your style.

Personally, I believe fashion is about comfort and personal style. If you feel it is not you, that will show when you wear the item and for me that is an undesirable/uncomfortable feeling. Hope this helps.

Gorgeous moto and great fit on you IK. It's kind of hard to see if it suits your style when it's over top you nightgown - lol!

Maybe try a few stylings and post them for feedback and get a sense of whether or not it will work for you?

The fit is superb, and the leather looks lovely. I cannot see the embossing on my screen, so I can't speak to it.

Can you try styling it with a few of your regular pieces? Is this something you can incorporate with your work capsules for your new position? Do you like it? Does it have that special feel to you?

If not, do what you can to part with it now. It may cost some postage to return, perhaps enough to make consigning worth it. No point in it taking up precious real estate if you don;t love it.
