K/R: What I Came Home With... for $300

So, the pink dress was a "think about it" from my other thread, but here are the spoils of war!

Winners:
Fossil Maddox satchel (ochre) - $80 (from 198)
Fossil Maddox flap (chestnut) - $80 (from 178)
Cole Haan Air Tali wedge (black) - $90 (from 168)
Navy dress - $30 (unable to track brand)

Zara:
Print blazer - $30 (from 100)

Conclusions: went over by $10. Oops! The shoes are SO comfy and I hope to wear them to work! I really didn't need two Fossil bags, but I am planning on retiring one of my old ones...

Any ideas on k/r?

Great finds! You look very professional, and comfy shoes are so important as a resident with the long, unpredictable hours. I'm constantly on the lookout for comfy shoes so will have to check out those cole haan wedges. I prefer the first Fossil bag, but if you were only $10 over budget and don't mind, keep both!

That was a great haul! I'm glad someone got those Fossil bags! Where did you find the shoes? You did well with 300 in canada!

ETA: oops, I just saw you got the shoes at Winners. I never find shoes there, good for you!

@ AJ; it's sort of like ... dunno; a plaid? A tonal plaid; I suppose would be the best way to describe it ... there was one with floral print; but not in my size *pout*

I think the two bags are fabulous, really great finds and I love the navy dress. It is 100% better than the pink Zara dress I think. The printed Zara jacket reads as a grey jacket, and if you have a grey jacket/blazer, it might be duplicative (if that is even a word). If you don't have a grey jacket, then keep it.

Good job! Aren't Cole Haan shoes comfortable? I walked all over Europe with one of their pair. The dress is cute to death. Bags are stylish and will be handy. I say keep it all.
Now I have to go visit my local Winners...

Love everything! I would keep them all if you can but if you have to I would return one bag- then again I carry one bag at a time and don't change them out often!

Lyn: I'm with the others -- everything looks great. I particularly appreciate that you have chosen a signature look (floaty dress) in a sophisticated color. You have the option to punch it up with colored accessories, of anchor it with the jacket and black wedges for work. Very versatile.

I liked the pink, too, although I did think another inch or two would have been ideal on the skirt! In that case, the pink color was balanced by more structure in the dress -- keeping it ladylike, but still youthful.

Found (and bought) the Fossil Maddox Flap in Black (great for me in the fall and winter!) Thanks Lyn, I've been stalking a Fossil purse (at the Bay) for over 2 years now but couldn't pull the trigger when they were $200.00! Now I have one that I love! I can see getting many years out of it, as a black purse is my go-to in the winter! And it's got cross body possibilities, another plus for me!

There were only 2 Fossil purses I could see at my Winners, but I may check out others in my city. My sis is looking for a Fossil satchel. (Doctor bag she calls it! ) I see you have a Doctor bag too! LOL

I'm so glad you were able to find one, Kim! What colour was your sister looking for? I saw a few Maddox satchels, but none of them were of particularly interesting colour (I went for the yellow!), but I always keep my eyes open!
