K/R Trench Coat ...need feedback on fit

i've been wanting a Burberry trench coat for a while, and a couple of weeks ago, i found this one on sale a Nordstroms. i love the coat, and really how often do you find burberry on sales. it was not my usual size, but i tried it on anyway. the SA said it fit, but i want some additional feedback.
i don't want my love of the deal to have convinced me about the fit.

sorry the pictures aren't better, but i hope that they are good enough for you to see the shape. i've included pictures of it open and buttoned as i'm likely to wear it both ways.

This is an absolutely gorgeous coat! BUT I am not 100% sold on the fit - it looks to me like it might be too broad in the shoulders and too short in the sleeves.

It is a little hard to tell from these pictures - could you get someone else to take photos, so we can see the rear view and what it looks like with your hands by your sides?

Are you scrunching the sleeves on the coat? If not, I think they are way too short. It looks like it fits. Bit snug through the shoulders but looser all the way down.

It is hard to tell, but I agree with CF and Thistle that the sleeves look short in the pics. How do they feel/look when you have your arms hanging down at your sides?

wish i had someone here today who could take a picture for me. the sleeves are actually the perfect length, not sure why they look short in the pictures, it must have been how i was holding the phone.
i think the shoulders are ok, but was not sure if the coat was to wide in the body.

i'll be going to visit my sisters for the holidays, i think i'll drag the coat with me, there's nothing like a sisters feedback. (or at least my sisters)

Beautiful coat! Yes, try to get someone to take pics for you, including back view - sometimes it pulls there, or there is excess bunched fabric.

DO you have 'typical' layers under it -- the things you would definitely need to fit under it?

I think the shoulder on the left side of the pics looks too big. Although the torso doesn't look too big when buttoned (like in #3) How is it when you sit, like in the car?

I have issues with Burberry and my not slim shoulders and upper arms nor hips. They clearly don't design for my body type, so I might be hyper sensitive. . .

It is a gorgeous coat but looks like it might be a little wide in the shoulders. It's hard to tell and will also depend on what you wear under the coat. Good idea to get your sisters' opinion.

Just looks a little loose in the torso, but nothing crazy. Also, if you are wearing sweaters or layers under it then maybe that is a good thing. If not, then maybe it's not fitted enough for you?
