The XL and that color look great on you. If you don't keep this sweater, you must find another in this color!

Ah ha ha! I'd looked at the first couple of lines of your post but I skipped ahead to the pictures (because I am a sadly impatient gal!). There I was, blithely scrolling though...only to see myself! How FUN!!! You totally made my day, Parsley!

FWIW, I've been loving an oversized fit and pink lately too. I think the sweater looks fantastic on you. I actually think that we ITs carry off that kind of oversized fit with a slouchy neck really well. I think it is the fact that our slim hips and legs provide the impression of smallness under all that sweater. Or maybe I'm just convinced of that because I just today bought a black slouchy sweater with a huge neck at Ann Taylor. Great minds!

All three outfits are super chic. I hope you wear them all soon. (Oh, yes, I voted keep.) Your sizing is perfect--much preferable to the suggested looks on Anthro's website. You're a style genius.

Perfect look! The upsizing is what makes it look so modern; much better than the retro look of the smaller size.

Keep please - so stylish on you.Loving your WIWs

That shade of pink is gorgeous on you. The larger size is perfect...makes a statement.

I appreciate all your comments, and I'm so relieved that the sweater meets with approval. It'a a little "out there" for me, and I never know if I'm just imagining that it works when I trying something new.
K.P.- I can't wit to see your sweater! Great minds, indeed!

It looks absolutely gorgeous on you!

I love your sizing and styling more than the Anthro pic. What fun! I think we use color as a way of "digging out" of winter. I love the fact that you're out there the moment the National Guard lets people on the streets! That's the Midwestern spirit!

I love it on you! What is a woman of a certain age? I am 58 and just wear what I want. Who cares? You look gorgeous in it.

you look amazing! I must copy outfit 1! Love

You GLOW in that color. I never would've thought of sizing up that much, but it's the perfect solution. Well done!

I could hug you!! You look so cuddly and that color is gorgeous on you.

This knocks it out of the ballpark! You look amazing!

That's what I like to hear. DON"T let a size boss you around. YOU decide on the right fit.

Killer looks, Marcy. So fresh, modern, easy, chic and no-nonsense. You know I love pink too. From blush to neon and shocking. All so yummy.

Parsley - how do you do it!!! You look amazing!! I bought the gap cable last year in the large (the xl looked like a teepee) so I am a huge fan over oversized knits!! You look divinely radiant in this color. Love the silhouette!! Fabulous!!

The color and fit look great on you. I like the version with boots best. My ankles felt cold looking at the other pics!

No wonder you craved this pink because it looks so good on you. it makes you more alive and simply radiant.
I also agree that the fit is simply brilliant. I especially love it with the faded denim - such a perfect pairing.

Goodness, this is fabulous. Now I want a pink sweater.

Parsley = fabulosity personified! Love the fuzzy pink sweater on you and how you sized up for the slouchier silhouette. Especially love it with the black pants! I want to be you when I'm a "woman of a certain age", whatever that means! I want to copy you right now!

Absolutely gorgeous! You look so beautiful in this color, and better than some of the inspiration pictures. I think the size is perfect. It's both trendy and flattering.

I'm seeing pink everywhere and have to find a pink sweater myself.

The sweater looks great on you! Totally perfect for bringing some cheer to the dead of winter.

BTW, I think my coloring is sort of similar to yours and I've always written off bright pinks like that for myself, but now I'm wondering….

No brainer - keep, keep, keep!

I love it! You've inspired me to look for a pink sweater!

Sigh. Oh, to be an IT and be able to carry off those oversized looks. . .Sigh. Sigh again.

Reminder to self: Don't wish for what will never happen. Maybe there's some looks you can carry off that ITs can't; they just aren't trending now.

Okay, I had to come back after trying on this same sweater. No pics!
I knew I didn't want to order it so just wandered to the Anthro store to return something else, and poof, it happened to be on the rack.

The color is great but wow, this turned out to be such an IT sweater!
Not sure it shows in Parsley's photo, but the neckline, while boaty, has some structure to it. So while I can wear boatnecks, I don't have enough shoulders to handle this sweater at all!

Paradoxically, this was a really fun try-on, especially with the other post of the Joie asymmetrical sweater. I have added a couple of oversized sweaters this year in order to wear with "skinnier" pants but it is very fraught--I just can't fill them out with my frame, and also have to deal with the low horizontal line (hence interest in asymmetrical hem, sort of how shirttail hems often work, though most are too casual for work) . I don't regret them, but I'm learning more about what proportions to look for.

Parsley, you keep inspiring me to emulate your style, but upside down !

The oversized fit is absolutely perfect and I just love the color on you! Great buy.

Somehow missed this the first time around. LOVE the color and the fit. Good for you for just following your heart and not the tag.
