Hi all, just a quick question as I'm off to the mall today to do a few errands and returns. I ordered two pairs of Gap jeans and I feel I don't need both - what do you think?
- The dark blue ones I really like; I just need a size up. The hems are finished and the straight cut feels dressier to me (as jeans go). Also, with my dusty blue jacket, I feel these will function quite nicely as a dark neutral for f/w (I know I'm always saying jeans aren't neutral - call it a column of colour maybe?)
- The black jeans are a girlfriend cut and feel more casual to me. I like the fit (I have the same pair in white) and was convinced I needed black jeans, but now I'm not so sure. I'm struggling to think of why I would reach for these rather than the above pair. The only thing I can think is that they would be useful with blue tops in f/w, but I only currently have one blue transitional sweater, and one blue merino knit. I think if I wear these with another colour top, it's going to be a hot mess with the blue coat.
What do you think? Even though these weren't expensive, I feel I might be duping, and will just be looking for excuses to wear the black rather than truly needing them. Am I missing any considerations? Thank you!!!
ETA - I'll keep them!
