K/R: Theory sweater bought with Nordstrom Notes

I had this sweater in my wishlist in the red versrion, but my store had the yellow one. Is this a good fit? I'm hoping to practice some layering this winter and came up with this possibility in pic 2. Sorry about the tired cranky face - I spent the day at Home Depot trying to plan a new kitchen, and it gave me the BIGGEST headache....

It's very cool. Is it supposed to be a slim, trim fit? I like the fit but I wonder about it a teeny bit looser/slouchier.

Theory runs tiny! All my sweaters are oversized so I was hoping to experiment with something that actually fits. Does this look too small?

No, it doesn't look too small at all! The fit looks great, and now it makes sense, after your reply about wanting something that fits you in a tailored way (using Angie's three types of fits). I think it looks very chic on you. I could see this working with pants *and* skirts.

MaryK, that's not even the pic I meant to take! I did this wonky thing with the sleeves that I saw in j. crew, folding them up over the scrunched sweater sleeves in a giant flap. Meant to post a more reasonable scrunch. But I kind of like this weirdo version.

love the styling especially with the yellow shirt. that's a lot for me since i have a poison eye against yellow, especially something this bright. but it really sets off your coloration.

Can I like half of it?? The blue is set in on the shoulder and more appealing to my eye. The yellow side looks very rectangular to me.

How do you feel with it layered over a shirt? Comfortable? You won't be pulling and adjusting throughout wearing? Asked because it always drives me bonkers adjusting the woven shirt just so under the sweater

I'm not so sure I'd even like the red version because the yellow is SO fun and not at all reminiscent of Tommy Hilfiger. . .

Yay--I like the yellow best. Also I like where it hits your waist as opposed to on the model.

This looks fantastic. I don't think it looks too small - I think if it was any bigger it would look sloppy & that would detract from the colour blocking. I love the yellow too.

I really like it! I like the slightly cropped, fitted fit too, since everything is oversized and slouchy these days -- it's a nice change of pace and very flattering on you. Love it with the yellow shirt. I must say I prefer the yellow to the red version, which is unusual because I almost never wear yellow.

I really like the yellow and both stylings look great to me (with or without shirt layered). The fit looks very nice to me.

I love it in the second picture. I have a thing about the length of sweaters... I like them to cover the whole fly of my jeans. They don't look right to my eye when they are shorter than that.
