K/R: Theory Sensa Shirt Dress

Finally has time for these pics! It's much too warm here!

I had initially posted about this dress as I was unfamiliar with the brand (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....eory-brand) and I guess, in theory (har har) it sounded like it was not a bad buy.

I just had some questions about the fit of it - is it puckering over my chest? There isn't a size up to try, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be shaped like this (haha, that's not very descriptive).

I find I am rather fond of the colour as it's not quite a black and it's not quite a navy (Theory calls it "eclipse") - which will hopefully make it more versatile.

I also think the length is satisfactory.

And there are pockets!

Please let me know K/R - it's rather a pricey purchase for me

Love this on you, Lyn. I think it will be a work horse if you like it. This type of dress lets you keep your style and simultaneously accommodates some of the constraints you face at work. So flattering and versatile. Agree it is a top pick for you.

If it's not gaping at all, then two thumbs up. It looks fantastic on you, really flattering.

Looks good! I have a theory blouse that is plenty big but the bust gapes because the buttons are too far apart. I just pinned it shut with a safety pin and put it on over my head. Easy fix.

Lyn I'm late to this and I think it's stunning but I feel it is straining a bit across the bust - at least that is what I am seeing in the pics. This would be a deal breaker for me:(

It looks great! Is it pulling a little on the bust? Make sure you do the sit down test

@ Diana - Your trick worked! The boob pull is gone! I am going to have to put in some snaps though, because I can't seem to get it over my head when I'm trying to take the dress off

@ Angie - I can sit in it, no problem, there is a rather long "slit" in the front because the buttons don't go all the way down to the bottom. I just added another snap when I was adding the boob snaps and now all fixed

@ Deborah - I'll see if I can get better pics for you sometime ... hmm, my sister is undecided if that's just my boobs :p

I love this dress on you! The color is wonderful - and the style emphasizes your gorgeous figure. Also, what kind of exercises are you doing to get those those great calf muscles???? (Your legs are beautiful.) OMG - you look fabulous!

I worry it is for a fantasy lifestyle - more of what my attendings have. You know, see patients in clinic, sit down all day ... then I realize oh crap, that is my life! HAHAHAHAA. *facepalm*

@ Marley - Thanks! I don't do anything really special, but I do commute (about 4 km a day now) in heels - uh, I wear out my heels pretty fast (I've swapped to walking in flats now). I do maybe an hour at the gym three or four times a week, 50/50 split cardio and weights. The leg things I do are just some stretches really, and I just follow the weight chart on the wall (sorry, I don't know the names of them). There are just some pictures that I think came with the gym and are posted on the wall. :p Mostly I think it's the commuting in heels.

Btw, I was in England in May and when hanging around one of my favorite shops I saw this display which reminded me of you. I immediately thought "ha, these are lyn dresses"
