K/R: the mural floral-back vest in Small

I had a K/R post for this vest (an Angie's pick) in Medium a couple of weeks ago, and the consensus was that the armholes were enormous and the whole thing was possibly too big. Well, I managed to track it down in a Small, so here it is. The armholes are much more reasonable here and I think the rest fits pretty well too.

Last photo is the Medium with giant armholes for comparison.

What a difference! So glad you were able to track down a smaller size. I swear, the M must be a mis-marked XL or at least an L. The S looks mighty good from here. Does it hit where you want it to?

Yes, Donna, the length is good. It comes just down to the bottom of my bum which is a good length for pants and is probably short enough to even wear with shorts. I would not really wear it with this dumpy loungewear dress!
ETA: I should have read the reviews re: size, although to be honest, they list S as 2-4 and M as 6-8. I'm normally an 8, not in my wildest dreams would I think I needed a 2-4. =P

I like it a lot in this size, Diana! It looks fab from the back and will be versatile for you.

ETA: Just wanted to thank you again for all the links you provided the other day. It was so generous of you to dig around on that awful clunky Bay site (which I know can take forever to load or display). And I actually ordered the asymmetrical striped Jax dress you linked to! Doesn't hurt to try it, right? So thank you!

Wow, huge difference between the small and medium. The sizing must be crazy on that vest. I think the small looks perfect on you and I love the floral design on the back.

By the way, the lengths of the 2 sizes are almost identical. I think the floral panel is the same on all of them so they can't change the length.

Suz, glad you liked the Jax dress! I hope it works out. Yes, the Bay website was agonizingly slow!

Angie, it layers fine over things with sleeves. The arm holes on the small are actually still quite roomy - they're more than an inch lower than my armpit - but they don't stick out nearly as much.
