The metallic silver skirt arrived and it is amazingly swishy. Just walking around in it is a lot of fun. I knew it wouldn't be the most flattering fit for a pearish figure, but it's less clingy and more substantial than I anticipated. It doesn't hurt that the fringes conceal. This skirt would obviously work in fancier settings, but I could see it dressed down, like in this pic.
The two concerns I have are with style, since I find it hard to pair silver bottoms with tops; and price, since this is much more than I'd be willing to pay for a poly skirt.
It's comfortable, though, and the happiness factor is high. And even though it might be too long to look the most flattering, this is the length that I feel most comfortable wearing going out about town.
