K/R: summer clothes from the Nordstrom sale

I purchased a buncha stuff from the Nordstrom sale, hoping to finish up my summer wardrobe. I'm not showing some rejects, but I think all of these are possibilities. Would like these all to be 9 - 10's, so give it to me straight!

1-2 Nic and Zoe 4-way cardi. An Angie pick. very lightweight; great for my summer.
3-7 Casual studio sheer blouse, Also an Angie pick. is it better tucked or untucked (or both?)
8-10 Nic and Zoe dress. I think I'd like a size up, but it's sold out. Does this work?
11--Does the dress work with the cardi?
12, and all photos: Jag jeans, cropped. I sized up: could these be my white boyfriend jeans?

Tags are on all, so what do you think of the cardi, blouse, dress and jeans?

I like everything! My favourites are the top in 1 and the dress on you though.

i love that sheer shirt in #2. so fun. i think i like it tucked or semi/faux tucked.

jeans look ok in most photos but seem to have some crotch bunch in a couple of pix. did you try your regular size?

I think the pants are one size too big even for BFs. Can you try a size down?

Yeah, I seem to be gravitating toward clear turqoise/greens this season!

What is crotch bunch; I guess it is the folds in the crotch? (duh?) But isn't that inevitable with BF"s? These are big and hanging down.

But, perhaps to Dana's point, these are too big even for BF's. I did not see my size (I got them at the Rack where it's hard to find sizes....) I did try TWO sizes up, but they were ridic.

Love the cardi, blouse and dress. Great colours for you. I've bypassed the boyfriend trend so I'll leave that to the other experts. The pants do look very baggy though.

Love the blouse tucked, the cardi, and the dress fit looks nice. I also think the jeans look a bit baggy, but that may be a matter of preference.

I like it all but the frock - and vote return the frock. Fab blouse and cardi! Gorgeous colour on you!

I'd also like to see one size down on the BF jeans.

Angie, the two things you like the best, the sweater and the shear blouse were both on your list! I love them too!

Too be honest, the dress is not really a 10 for me either, and it was pricey.....I have some more dresses coming in later this week so we shall see if any of those are better.

Looks like 100% on the pants possibly being too baggy, even for BF jeans. To be clear, these aren't made to be BF jeans, I just bought a bigger size of jeans! So maybe it's not their fault that they are too baggy

I shall try to find a smaller size. I think I should try the Kut Catherine boyfriend jeans too.....

Love love this colour for you. I would try one size smaller in the jeans - they look a bit roomy and they often grow throughout the day.

I absolutely love the cardigan on you! I have one in the same color (BTW, it just got further discounted to $44 so I got a price adjustment on my order). I like the blouse (you look great in blue and turquoise).

I like the dress but not with the cardi and it would be nice to try it in one size up. I like the jeans in all photos except #12 where they look overly baggy - did not realize the pair in 12 was the same until I read your post.

So definitely a 10 on the cardigan and the blouse, not sure about the other two.

Love the top and cardigan. Dresses have been really hard this year. This sizing on all of them seems off.

Those blues are great for you. I like the cardi and the top on you. Agree that the dress isn't a 10; it feels dated to me. I like the shape of the jeans, though it would be nice to see a smaller size to eliminate some of the bunching. Good choices.

Beautiful color for you. I like the blouse and the sweater. The dress doesn't seem like you and agree that you should try to size down on the white jeans, but the idea of them looks great with your blue tops!

I'm with everyone else. LOVE that cardi on you in the first pic. Wow. And I like the blouse tucked. The dress does look a bit snug. Did you try the Kut Catherines in white? Just curious how they compare.

Well that is clear! I'm returning the dress, keeping the cardi and blouse, and putting the jeans on hold. If the dress was inexpensive and from Target, I'd keep it as houseware, but it's not.....

Sarah, I still have to try the Kut Catherine's. These Jag Jeans aren't even BF jeans, they are crops. Will have to get to the real Nordstrom's to try the Kut's!
