K/R Some Memorial Day Loot rolled in - shorts

Went a little crazy ordering during Memorial Day Sales.
1-2 is Vince Camuto stripe top (Angie pick from Nordstrom sale) and Bright green JCrew 9 in chino short in Bright Green. I would never tuck (at least not 100%. I like the length and liked the waist until I saw the photo. Hmmm. Not sure on the top
3-4 J Crew Henna broken in BF shorts (I have not rolled them like they do on the site), happen to already have perfect tee in Henna so I can do a column - Naya ankle strap sandals, just for fun added LL Bean madras blazer and higher sandals (Nordstrom brand) Doable?
5 I have a family event requiring all white attire. This is J Crew Elinor dress. Feels nice, but I think I'm too busty for tank style. ??
6. What I almost wore today Anne Klein dress and K/R Franco Sarto Vaya red patent peep toe wedges. Very comfy, but now I'm paranoid there isn't enough toe showing. Also think dress is not long enough or age appropriate. Consign?
7. Caslon shorts - not a fan right? Also Amber Sun tank that came in wrong color (this is NOT blue horizon)
Forgive goofy poses and expressions - I squeezed in photos while bathing kids (Yeah Mom of the Year)

I think the top looks good in #1, but if you're not comfortable, then return. Those green shorts are FUN!

Those sandals in #3 are FAB and I also like the styling in #4. I would never have thought to add that blazer...nicely styled.

I'm not sure about the white dress. It actually looks a bit off white if that matters to you. I think it looks OK. Maybe keep as a backup in case you don't find anything else?

Does the red dress feel short when you sit? The length from the photo looks fine to me. I think the shoes look good too.

The shorts in #7 look baggier than the other 2 shorts. Your facial expression cracks me up! Actually, I do think you deserve the FAB Mom of the Year award if you can fit WIW pics while bathing kiddos!

Hi there! The length and waist look good to me on the first pair of shorts. I think the color will work well for you too. Pretty top! The henna shorts look great with your blazer and column of color look, adorable with the higher sandals - city chic! I'm not sure about the white dress. The fit looks good, but you need to feel comfortable in it. I think it would be easier to judge if we could see it styled and with the shoes you are planning to wear with it. Love the red dress! It's not too short and is age appropriate, IMO. The peep-toes look fab to me! Too bad the tank came in the wrong color, and kudos to you for finding the time for pics in the midst of baths and bedtime! You ARE a supermom!

I love the red dress outfit! I think it looks totally appropriate. To me it looks knee length. The shoes look good as well.

Also love outfit #4. So matchy in a totally cool, chic way.

I like the top in #1. A lot, and I think you can wear it with other things in your wardrobe. The shorts also look good.

Love the henna colour for you and like those shorts. As for the sandals in #3 - wow! So cool.

I like the pairing with the madras, too. I am not a shorts and heels girl so will leave that to those with less of a poison eye.

You know, if you ask me, the red dress looks fab on you!! I really like it. The white dress, not so much, but it's a bit hard to tell without your styling it. Do you have to wear ALL white? If so, will you wear a topper, too? That might save it. I know it might be difficult to find just the right white item and your time is limited.

Not sure about the last items but it sounds as if you are not happy with them in any case!

You are doing some serious shopping! Can't wait to see what you keep and wear.

I really like #1! But yeah, I don't think that top works tucked. I prefer the slightly baggier fit of shorts #2 (though I adore the color of 1) - take that with a grain of salt, as I like my own shorts very relaxed. LOVE those sandals - will have to go see if I can find them online.

Not in love with the white dress. The neckline looks good to me, but I'm not a fan of the empire waist and poofy skirt.

Love everything about 6!

You do NOT look happy with the Caslon shorts, lol. Return based on that alone.

LOVE #4. that madras is just the right thing to set off the tonal shorts and tee. plus the sandal heels dress it up just a touch. if you have converse, pop those on and you're off in the other direction of casual.

I think the white dress will work with a small topper, like a shrug, or denim jacket for what you need. The red dress is fab, but feels a bit too short correlated to the volume of the skirt if that makes sense, but maybe you can solve it with lower heels or flats? Great lot, love your newbies.

Jeanne I love the green shorts and top. I have an Aussie version of that top and I love it. The white dress looks very nice. It's a bit Marilym Munro (in a good way) and so fresh and pretty for summer. Now, my favorite is the red dress. Not too short, flattering cut and if you don't mind me saying, you have great legs and this dress shows them off (appropriately).

I think I got it all. No tucking but keeping green shorts. Will try some other styling with the stripe top and white dress before deciding.
Angie - thanks so much for the compliments. I've been trying to find the right mix for my madras jacket that doesn't make me look like one of the older ladies at the yacht club.
Rae - the Naya sandals are very comfy and I got a screaming deal at Sierra Trading Post but they only have size 6 left now. I'm considering stalking them in the green

Lyn I think you hit it on the head with the volume of the skirt on the red dress making me feel more exposed and therefore seems shorter. I'll retrieve it from the consignment pile and put it in the MOTG dress collection for flats only.
bj111 I will try this with converse or maybe my bronze loafers.
