K/R -- Some 7FAM store sale items

I ordered these, not sure if they are 10s. I am not flush with cash right now due to remodeling so they must be 10s to keep! Thank you for helping me.

I didn't have time to style them to the best of my ability but hope these quickie photos will suffice for you to judge these purchases.

1/2 -- Lightweight mohair sweater. #2 shows pattern and greenish undertones.

3/4 -- Featherweight patterned skinny jeans. The inseam is NOT 30" as stated so I have to chop off at least 3" to make them that. (frowning)

CocoLion, if you weren't asking to be very strict, I would say these are great, but to be 10s, I am not sure. The sweater is nice but doesn't stand out as unique. I do like the marled color. The jeans fit you great but are baggy in the knee. On the other hand that could be the kind of thing I would only notice in a photo and not IRL.

I think they both look really good. I like the cut and color of the sweater. Its very flattering and I think it worse very casual as in #1 and could be dressed up easily with jewelry or a scarf. It hard to see the jeans, but they look like a very good fit, are very you and the pattern looks subtle. I guess maybe the question with the jeans is 'do you need them'? (Personally that's not my favourite questions he he) If it were me, I would be keeping them both.

They are both cute, from what I can see, but I prefer the jeans to the sweater, which I find a bit boxy.

Denise (right?), I could see you styling both of these to perfection. If I remember correctly you are headed in a very streamlined, simple and bold direction style-wise. If these fill a wardrobe hole, I vote keep. The sweater looks deceptively simple, but if I know you, it's hand knit out of the softest wool. (Sorry I didn't not click on the links) Can you have 7FAM exchange the jeans since the length issue is their fault? You shouldn't have to alter them on your dime/time.

I love the jeans. But the sweater is not a 10 to my eye. It looks a little loose but not loose enough to be a loose style. I've seen you rock better. Now no settling on to more fab things!

Love the jeans, feel middling about the sweater. Knowing you, you would style it brilliantly and it would be great, so if you have fab ideas for it, don't let our thoughts dissuade you. OTOH, if it was a just a whim to buy it, maybe save those pennies.

The jeans are keepers but the sweater is tricky. It has a lovely deep v neck but otherwise wouldn't appear to score the magic 10. Trouble is, we can't tell how it feels and with a sweater that's so important. Does it feel "10" when you're inside it?

I appreciate all of the wise comments. Before reading your feedback, I was thinking about keeping the jeans as they fit quite perfectly, even though I will need to have them hemmed. I too think the sweater is only so-so. I picked it for its light weight, deep v neck and longer length, but the fit is a little frumpy on me. So thank you for confirming my own suspicions about the sweater.

I am constantly on the look out for deep v neck tops, sweaters and jackets, even though to some people (Angie) they are over-saturated at retail. Why is it I am not seeing all of them out there? All I see is a sea of crew necks.
