K/R: Slouchy trackpant & white blazer

Pics 1, 2 & 3 - White blazer. I think I like the shape & length but the fabric is lightweight, which I thought would be good for Summer. The problem is that you can see the chest pocket & shoulder seam outline. Also the lapels don't sit right over my bust. I should hold out for PPP right? It has been hard to find one this length. I suppose it doesn't have to be but I have cropped jackets & hip length ones. It would be nice to have something different. Also this one was on sale for $105. If I need to spend $200 maybe I should just get the Michael Kors leather one a well as the sand? Or perhaps it is good to have something lighter weight than leather for Summer.

Pics 4, 5 & 6 - Sorry for pic in yoga/lounging top. These are the cheap Forever 21 slouchy pants because the ones I really want are $295. They are cropped so I have to wear them low to get them to be long enough. I don't mind doing that with some but with this pair the crotch looks weird, more so at the back. the butt looks weird. I know they all have a droopy butt but some look worse than others. I also prefer ones that have a ribbed or elastic cuff & these don't. They were only $20. The plus to these is that they are narrow like my favourite ones

Pics 7, 8 & 9 - My favourite ones in 2 different sizes. They both look good but the smaller ones feel like they will stay on better. I'm worried the bigger ones will fall off, especially if the elastic loosens or I lose weight. These are $295.

Pics 10 - These are $228 & are similar to the favourites but the leg is wider at the top & I don't like that.

Should I PPP for my preferred pants to go on sale or for more companies to start making them so that I can find PPP? Should I PPP with the blazer? Somehow I don't feel that I will find one for that price but I'm not sure that anyone but me will notice the flaws I mentioned.

I don't have much input but I will at least bump your post to the top
I have to agree the expensive pants look more on trend and intentional. But I can't see paying that much for a trendy item for myself. Then again I don't really love the trend, seems that you really love the pants. I don't feel the F21 ones are going to be a true substitute. And I love a cheap substitute

I really like the white jacket, but there seems to be some puckering at the bust, perhaps what you were referring to. So I am not sure. I don't think getting the leather would be a substitute; they seem like different kinds of jacket to me. Anyway, I agree with you that this is a good length for you to try!

Not that it's much help.

For the pants -- do you love the trend? If so, and budget allows, go for the pricier ones. If you are just playing and don't feel sure, either try these inexpensive ones or look for another inexpensive pair. The silhouette looks great on you and you can absolutely wear it.

As for the pants, of course I love your ultimate pair, the most expensive ones. But if that is too much, the F21 pants look great too! I wouldn't get the $228 ones, go for either of the others.

It really depends on whether you want/can spend the money on the pricier pair. If you are meeting your savings goals, other bills, taxes, etc. go for the pricey ones! If you are going into debt to pay for them, don't do it, the F21s are plenty cute.

Thanks ladies. Maybe I will wait for PPP for the jacket & pants, because the fave pants price don't fall into PPP. I'm just playing with the idea. Problem is sometimes you need a decent pair if you're not sure you like something to give the style a fair go. I still think these will become more available elsewhere & for lower prices in the future. Sorry I had to post & run. Had to drive to San Diego to see Nick Cave tonight. No WIW but I got a pic with him. My outfit is one you've seen before. All black for the prince of darkness.

If Suz could see the puckering & I could too maybe I should keep looking. Denise I like the jacket too, the style, cut, length etc. It's just those seams & pocket showing through & the lapels puckering on my bust that are bothering me. I think the fabric was maybe too light for the style.

Thanks kkards. I think kt is shorter than what im looking for but i will keep them in mind for the future. It seems they have good prices.

Well, I love the look in 7 on you - can you try that with the F21 pants and see how different it is from the expensive option? I would hesitate to spend that much on trendy pants, but that's my practical side talking...
