K/R silver smoking slippers and blingy belt

One more post for the day.
Keep or return on these items (I'm keeping the jacket it's a Kenar faux leather and knit combo that I've already worn twice in one week to work)
Belt - I'm magpie drawn to this but is it a bit how do you say "housewives-ish"? Betsy Johnson tiger print with tons of rhinestones. I would wear with jeans

Shoes - silver glitter smoking slippers (G by Guess). A non-work shoe, but kind of fun? I'm not loving the huge metal "G" on top, but it doesn't show with the rest being blindingly glittered. Also they were marked down to $13 so I thought I'd give them a shot.
Thoughts?

Yes, shoes and belt are blingly but (in my magpie eyes) that's the way to wear them - with everything else understated/toned down.

I think anyone who shies away from having fun with clothes may not understand - but that's their loss!

i'm usually big into shine but i'm not loving either piece. but for $13 for the shoes, they're probably a great casual option.

Definitely bling, but I think it works when paired with the casual jeans and tee. Keep in mind, I do have magpie tendencies!

Most important question (more so than price) do YOU feel fab in them and will you wear them? If not, return and save the dollars towards a splurge purchase. May only be $13, but IMO, better to save it then spend and not wear the clothes.

I must be a magpie because I am obsessed with metallic shoes. Need a new pair myself and I would have been attracted to those. Keep if they are comfy

I think they're both great and I know you will find lots of ways to get them into your wardrobe. So I say: Keep!

You need to feel comfortable in them. If you feel housewives ( do you mean OC housewives) then you will be self conscious. I don't think the shoes are like that but I can see that reference in the belt. I have worn animal print belts but not with rhinestones on them.

You look very smartly turned out. Normally I would not favor the belt, for the reasons you so eloquently stated. But it does work here, partly because some of it is revealed, but some of it is covered. Personal preference might be a simpler leopard belt sans bling, primarily because the shoes have bling, and those are too fab, so I hope you keep them. All that said, you make it work and carry it beautifully.
