Donna - I am totally with you about asking the forum. Generally people say nice things too (almost worse if people don't say much. That seems to be a giveaway to me they aren't crazy about it). Or sometimes if you show several items, people comment on the ones they like and don't mention the ones they don't. Another clue.
But people have said nice things and I think - maybe it's just the picture making it look better, but IRL, there's something about it bothering me or not wowing me. And it doesn't help, I generally try to post the most flattering picture because I hate to post unflattering ones. It can sometimes skew the results too.
Long story long, almost all of the K/R posts I've ever done, I return the majority of the merchandise. The things I love I don't need to post a K/R, because I'm keeping it whether someone says they like it or hate it. There are rare exceptions, however, when something you're unsure of can grow to be something you love. That seems to happen when the style is a little out of the box of what you normally wear. Then the spurring on can help with a style shift.
