Looking for feedback on the pants. The shirt is likely to be demoted to undershirt status. All feedback is welcome. picture 1 is just so you can see what the pants look like. Picture 2 is closer to how I'd style them.

I have those pants. So effing hard to wear for me! I just gave up after a year. Your experience may be different.

They do fit you well and i love the new ease in the pants....renembering your previous pants thread.

I love the R13s so you get a Yay vote from me! I think the way you've styled them in #2 suits your style very well.

I think you can do better. I know the allure of R13s - that buttery soft denim, the cool details. But they make other cuts! Depending on what size you are, I often find them on Yoox for way less than those crossover pairs.

However, you can remember I have not liked these pants on any YLF member to wear them... I may be biased.

You know how I struggled with these - they are superhard to get right and I wanted to wear them so badly. I ended up selling them to bj1111, who apparently has not had better luck.

So bear that in mind when I say I'm not a thumbs up - I think Marley and CocoLion and Anna's pictures convinced me of how they are supposed to look. But that is no reflection on you - I'm not sure there could be a more difficult cut to wear.

All right in the spirit of honest feedback here goes.... Are you after figure flattery or edginess? I remember how hard it's been for a lot of people to style these and get it right. If figure flattery is your goal, that's a tough one, are you ok with JFE? If that's ok or edginess is your goal then I like them on you and I like how you've styled them. But are they worth the struggle? Seems like they're a lot of work to style well, do you love them enough?

I don't love these on you;but if you love them then I think it is more about how YOU feel than about how I/we think they look. If you are talking figure flattery I prefer your HL pants by a mile.

Shedev, I was browsing these jeans last night:) I love them!! What I am unsure of tho, is how they are supposed to fit. Given the cross over, are they meant to be a more fluid fit?? The fit does look good on you and I think the sizing is correct, I just find this style seems to flow best in a fluid drapey fabric. I do like the styling in #2 and I think with a flowing, draped topper they will work well. I would be inclined to wear either a high low topper, or even something with a sharkbite hem line that drapes at the sides but still features the cross over:)

If you like them, size up. They seem too structured on the thighs, which is making the crotch point bulge. They require a baggier fit.

I'd love to see the size up for comparison. I like your styling option, and I think it's a good style for you to try. I like the crossover look myself a lot.

So glad Angie chimed in. Now I think I understand how they are meant to fit! Question... is the leg suppose to bit fitted or loose? I.e. should it read as a skinny leg or a straight leg?

I think these are really cool pants, but as others have pointed out, they are a difficult look to wear as far as figure flattery goes. When Una was trying them, I felt like the top of the pants needed to be visible so that the whole crossover feature could be clearly seen so that people see right away that it's intentional. Would you ever try tucking with a belt to show off the feature?

Well I own these jeans and love them and have not really had a difficult time styling them - and from what I know of your style, I don't think that you would either. I agree with those who are suggesting that you try a bigger size. I went up 2 sizes in mine in order to get the kind of baggy fit and fluid crotch area that I wanted. I also learned that they look much better with a belt and a semi-tuck in the front - so that the interesting cross-over part is visible.
I like the way that you have yours styled in the 2nd photo.
Attached are a couple of pics of mine - tried to find a front view and side view - side view isn't really a side view - but I think you can see in it how baggy the legs are.
@Deborah - I wear mine baggy and loose - I think that is the way they are supposed to fit - at least that's what works best for me.

Sizinjg up may work. For some reason with my body type I sized down one size and people still thought it was too much look, so I think body type plays a part too. I do think they need to drape more.

These are such interesting pants. I think they would be way easier to style if you sized up and tried them boyfriend style like Marley has shown, but that might not be the look you're after.

I don't have any experience with these pants and have just been watching the YLF R13 parade with interest over the months. Personally, I do prefer how Marley's fit, with the extra ease. But that is a lot of pant, which you may or may not want. I'd love to see you in a size up.
