Love them, total shoe envy. I always wear 1/2 size up with Cole Haan and any pointy shoes.

Jj, that's good to know. I got some Cole Haan wedges last summer that I wish now were a bit larger.

They are fantastic shoes! I
f I can ask, how tall are you and what is your shoe size?
I'm 5'4" with size 10's so I'm very sensitive about the long foot thing and will NEVER wear such pointy shoes. But I love them on people who have much more proportional shoe size than me.

Sunee's, I'm 5'3" and usually wear an 8, but these are 8.5. I suspect that the pointy toe flat will look most proportionate with boot cuts or wide legged pants; but I have trouble finding those styles in the scaled down proportions for my height.

I think they are awesome! What a buy!

Joy,

I think it should be fine even with a thinner pant leg. Of course, your own opinion is what matters most. And as I'm sure we are all at least a little aware, no one else cares about that kind of stuff. All people will see is your cool shoes!

Oh, Joy! These are so elegant! They will work with so many colour combos; olive and pink (ala Angie), grey/lemon/white/black etc et al!! I vote keep! (Assuming they fit and are comfortable)

Gorgeous - please keep!

Wow. These are amazing and they look wonderful on you!!

If they fit and they're comfy and don't fall off when you walk I say keep. I also do not think they make your feet look overly large -- if you are self conscious keep in mind pointed toes tend to elongate (almond toe would be a good substitute if you wanted sleek w/o point).
I think they're fabulous, even more so on sale. I hope you enjoy them.

Thank you all for your wisdom and help in deciding what to do about these loafers. I'd planned to stick with almond toes but these make me smile when I see them on my feet in spite of the length. For the price I paid the CPW should get to be pretty small considering that they can update outfits in my closet. Now I'm thinking about a pair of pointy toe calf hair leopard wedges on sale at the same store. Hmmm.
