K/R: pointy flat metallic loafers

Although I have some comfortable pewter ballet flats, I couldn't resist these Coach loafers found on sale. Most pointy toes seem tight in the toe area. I sized up a half size and that seems to fix the problem, at least for this pair. I'd love to get your input though. Do they make my feet look disproportionately large?
Do they look ok with slim to straight jeans?
Am I wearing sale goggles? Should I keep looking?
I'm also concerned about scuffing on the metallic. What do others with smooth surface metallics do for that? These are a great quality leather and leather lined with padded sole.
Snow is coming down like crazy so they won't get an outing anytime very soon.

I could kill for them!! I think it's a brilliant find. If they fit well, it's a big fat yay from me :). And I am sure would be a killer addition to your wardrobe!

ETA: I don't know much about the chaffing issue and would leave that to the experts here!

Well truthfully they do look a little long, but it's really hard to tell the true effect without a full body shot. I love them, otherwise.

I only have one pair of metallic leather pumps (Jessica Simpson) and one curious thing is that something in soil seems to have discolored them in spots. I've worn them very few times, but once was at a wedding where I walked on grass. I cleaned them immediately after and there was no visible damage, but weeks or months later hanging in storage they turned dark on the heel. I'm hoping that this isn't a common thing though, because I would like to get a metallic oxford sometime.

I think they look great! I don't think they look too long. You could always put pads or an insole in them if they slip off a bit.

I've owned several pairs of metallic ballet flats that held up fine with no scuffs, but they were not quite as shiny as these.

I like them a lot. My only concern would be that if they're leather they might stretch out and then not stay on.

They do fit and stay on when I stride, even with cold feet which always seem a half size smaller than my feet in hot weather. My reasoning is that if they stretch, they will either fit in hot weather or I can easily add an insole. I usually don't have trouble with flats staying on.
Rabbit, what did you use to clean your metallics? I'm wondering if using a coat of clear polish or spraying with waterproof boot spray would help or be a disaster. Keruchina, my other metallics are also not as smooth. I realize that I can't wear them to church.
Angie, if it were not for your posts on modern loafers and trending pointy toes, I don't know if I'd have looked at these twice.

I love them, do not look too big. I always think that when I size up but it is only about 1/2 inch or less biggger (so I am told)

Beautiful shoes! I love them. But I am very self-conscious about flat shoes making my feet look so long, and if I had to size up to make a flat shoe comfortable for my toes, I'd pass on them and look for a flat shoe which works for me in my normal size.

About protecting them...if you have a can of waterproofing spray or clear polish, is there a number you can call for questions? You could call the manufacturer and see if the product would be OK on metalllics.

I posted from my iPhone, so don't think I can add a full length photo, but will try. These have been comfortable around the house so I'm leaning toward keeping them, although I'm sure that my feet look longer than they would in a rounder toe shape. This may be one of those times that I ignore it unless you think the whole proportion is off, and it might be. I'm not good at determining that. It looks like I can add a photo to this post. How do proportions look?

They are beautiful shoes. As an life long expert on big feet, I do think your feet look big (long) in them. I always pass on shoes that make my feet look bigger. I think if the vamp comes up higher on the foot, the foot doesn't look as long. Even though I think they are beautiful, I wouldn't buy them. But that's just me.

They do look very modern and are a great " color".

I don't worry about size in footwear any more than in clothes-- it's the fit.
So if they feel like the size for your feet and when you walk they feel like they're moving in the right way, then that's what matters.

Pointy toes can be elongating or just longer- by design, our toes can't be completely down in the end of the pointy part. So I base it all on how I feel about the proportions of toe and vamp and body of the shoe, I'm very ticky about that
on my own feet-- have to combine" I know it when I see it " with adjusting to new trends that slowly alter my poison/ sugar eye, IYKWIM.
