Thanks, everyone; the tags are off. AG & Marmee, this is one of the skirts that Angie featured in her Sept. 11 roundup of Nordstrom skirts so I was forewarned that it's a bit plasticky. It almost makes me feel like I'm wearing one of those heavy plastic garbage bags, except that the skirt is Beluga green and not black. It is way thinner in weight than my Xena pleather. Since it isn't fitted, the only place that it would get warm and uncomfortable is at the waist. As it is, the waistband runs a little big so I have it hiked up and cinched with my belt so it hangs better around my hips. I guess if I get too warm I will take the waistband off to get a little air.
Umm, I should have mentioned that the skirt wasn't really styled. I'm wearing DD's choir opaque knee-highs after all! The layering T was mostly to enable you to see the skirt. I will probably wear these booties with the skirt unless the ones on order fit and look better.
Note/Discovery: When a skirt is longer, bootie ankle gaps are more apparent. I guess that's because the eyes focus lower? Normally, the gaps in my other more comfy booties don't bother me, but with this skirt I didn't like the look.
