K/R: Pink Furry Jacket

I ordered the longer coat version of this, in navy, at NAS. It was not a good look. Maybe the shorter version looks better?

It’s reversible. The first pictures, with the fur out, are the smaller size, then the pictures with the nylon out are the larger size, then the fur out again is the larger size. The fur in is cozy, but a little boring looking on the outside, I think.

What do you think? Smaller size, larger size, or return both?

The smaller size is best -sleeves look too long and the shoulder too big in the larger size. I love the color on you, but I'm not sure about cut or furry texture - I like the smooth side best. The pockets look like they would not work for me - I prefer being able to put my hands in.

What draws you to this? I find I am drawn to gimmicky multi function garments like reversible, or interchangeable something, and then am dissatisfied because it is a jack of all trades and master of none. I only use one feature and would have been happier buying something that only does one thing well.

I love that color pink when worn as you are doing, with blue denim. I like the larger size as I imagine that you would want to be able to layer under it, yet worn as shown it looks fine to my eye. I do not find the furry side out boring, but I am a sucker for texture. I also like the puffer side out just as well. You could do either as the mood strikes you.

I kinda love it - secret Puffy! And like Joy, rather like the larger size with the sleeves turned up. Definitely a casual look...

Karen, I was drawn to the furry side, not to the fact that it is reversible. Oh, and that it’s pink. The pockets are awkward as you said. On the smooth side they are better.

Joy, I misspoke. I meant the smooth was boring. But it’s not, it’s just not as interesting as the furry side. I think I wish it were furry on both sides. Then it was be interesting *and* cozy.

Rachy, I’m glad you like it. Even the big size seems better than the navy long one from NAS.

I vote larger and though both sides rock, particularly digging the furry side!

I love the color for you, but I'm not sure about the collarless cut. Can you see yourself getting a lot of wear out of that? My neck would be cold.

I think the larger size looks better. Lovely colour and I like both sides. Personally, I like this cut on jackets (collarless), as it is easy to create different combinations with different scarves. But it is personal, how you like to wear jackets, and in which weather you would wear this one.

I think I prefer the smaller size, if it's comfortable. Does it ride up too short if you lean over, and do you have good range of motion in the shoulders?

It's a great colour, and I like the fuzzy texture. I'd probably end up with the smooth side as a lining all the time anyway -- easier to layer over other fuzzy things.

Liz, thank you. My neck gets cold, too, as my hair is short. I’d wear either a turtleneck or a scarf with it most likely.

Katerina, thank you. It’s interesting how people are split almost evenly between the two sizes.

LaP, I’ll probably wear the fuzzy side out. That’s what I was attracted to. Interestingly, the smaller size is too tight to wear fuzzy side in.

Angie, I’m so glad you think that. I was at the mall returning something, and I saw a pink coat which I tried on. At that moment I realized that these weren’t “the one.” I’ll return them.

Re jeans, I know. I think they fit, then they stretch. It’s maddening!

It looks a little like a fuzzy Chanel tweed jacket and I think it's actually pretty cute but can you make it work easily with your clothes?

It might very well be easier for Lisa to mix it in to her wardrobe...
