K/R Part 2: White and Fuschia blazers

Today I was at Forever 21 and they had a ton of blazers! I tried on a couple and then the girl in the changing room said they were 30% off, so I went and tried on some more.

1-4: This one was surprisingly really nice quality, especially for Forever 21. It has double welt pockets on each side front, one with a pocket flap. The sleeves have actually working buttonholes and the lining is piped along the edge. It's definitely not worth sewing for the price they are selling this!

5-8. This is showing up as red, but is actually fuschia, but not too bright. I really like the shade. This one is boxier, but the fabric (rayon, poly, lycra--which is easy care and comfortable) is quite drapey, so it hangs nicely, I think. I tried sizing down, but it really was too tight. This one is probably my least favorite, but is the perfect shade of pink for me and I do like it, if it gets YLF approval.

Thanks for any advice. Again, these are not styled, just put over what I had on.

Both look like beautiful basics. I've never set foot inside a F21 but I may have to now, you've found so many nice jackets.

Not sure if I like the color of the fuschia on you but it is a nice jacket. What do you think? White jackets are tough to find. If you like this one, I would keep it. They will be gone from all the stores in the next 5 minutes.

Love the white one !!! I am not so sure about the fuchsia one, it does look a bit boxy.

Thanks to both of you! F21 had a ton of blazers, I was surprised. I think the white one wound up being 28 and the pink one about 23 and that was CDN, which is always more than the US price, even though our dollars are about equivalent these days.

I think the pink color is OK. I don't know why it's looking red in the pictures because some were taken in the dressing room at F21 and the others in my closet. It must have something to do with the lighting and my cell phone camera. My DH isn't around to take *real* pictures. If it looks ok other than that, I would probably keep it.

I think they both look good. The pink looks a little roomier, but it doesn't look oversized. It just has a smidge more slouchiness than the white one. I think that works fine with its shape, which as you mentioned is a little boxier. When you wear it with a fitted bottom, it looks great. What a couple of finds!

Get both! The white because it's good quality and the fuschia because it's *your* pink. It looks much better on you than on the hanger, BTW.

Jem the white looks stunning! Great fit, length and the color is good on you. The pink is ok. Not great. I'm not sure what it is but it just doesn't look as crisp or as well fitting.

Thanks everyone! I will definitely keep the white one after all of your remarks! I think I will try styling the pink one and take better pictures on another day before I return it. It's definitely not as structured, because the fabric is drapey. Then, if it doesn't get more love, I'll return it.

They had just gotten those today and were just putting them out. Those rang in at the 30% off, but the other one didn't. I told the girl that the other girl told me all of the blazers were on sale so she changed the price. You should definitely go check it out. They had a ton of blazers all of the store. It's always so hard to find anything in there, but there were alot of different styles and colors. There was a yellow one that was really nice looking, but that's not a great color for me, so I didn't try that one.
