ETA more pics K/R pants &/or jacket

I've been looking for a pair of brocade pants for a while.

#1 & #2 are how I was thinking of wearing them - either with a shorter jacket or just a tunic or longer shirt.
#3 is with the matching jacket - I'm not sure if it's too much all together.

Please be honest - I can take it:)

It also works with my jeans (it was just too hot, even with the cooler on, to keep going).

Ooh! Love the fabric -- print and color. The pants look like a great fit, although I can't be sure of PPL from the pic. I'm less sure of the jacket, although I'd like to see other angles. As for together, I think it would work better with more contrast in the top, perhaps. I love the color of the jacket, but would want to make sure it shapes nicely -- this pic makes me think it might be a boxy?

These pants look great on you Caro! I don't think I'd wear it together with the jacket, just too much brocade for me. But the jacket could look great on it's own too. Show us some styles with other pants you have.....

I adore the pants on you Caro and love it with the black toppers and could be paired with a blue jacket or sweater as well. I'm not sure about the brocade jacket and pants together but I'm far from being an expert in that area so will leave that discussion to others.

LOVE the pants on you. Definitely keep! I would also like to see them with a lighter top or topper.

I like the jacket, too, and I am not even sure they are too much together. I think it would depend on what else you were wearing. The whole effect here is perhaps a bit dark on you. But it's awfully hard to judge that from a photo.

Can you try some other stylings with the jacket, too? Definitely worth considering, IMO.

Definitely keep those pants! Both styling ideas look great. To my eye, the pants with matching jacket look fresh and new as it's been a long time since we've seen this look. Exuding lots of confidence, I definitely think you can wear them together.

I saw those in store and I like them even more on you! I do like both together, but I suppose it depends on how edgy you want to be. You might try them with a white or different colored top to kind of "break up" the wall of pattern.

The cut of the pants look very nice on you. I think it may be a bit too much with the jacket together though. Perhaps if the top was a contrasting color it would make a difference.

So, thumbs up on the pants from me but on the fence for the suit.

ETA: I posted before I read the others' comments and see now that I am in sync with the fabbers.

Although the pictures are a little dark, from what I can see this looks great and really fun. I think wearing the items together is "in" but it's up to you how it makes you feel.

I really like the pants. The fit is quite good and I like the drape. I can't comment on PPL as it is a little dark and hard to see with the boots.

I would pass on the jacket. I really think it is too much brocade and too much pattern. That could just be my taste, however. I sometimes have a really hard time knowing what is just me as I can be a bit conservative sometimes!

I'm in love with the look of a patterned suit, but it is a very specific look. Can't break it out every week, KWIM. I actually would love one for myself! It is gorgeous on you. I would try it with a lighter blouse. I think this will also be quite versatile as separates.

Great pants, such a rich subtle pattern and very flattering for you. I like the idea of the jacket, too, but think I would prefer to break them up!

The pants are fabulous! I know I run conservative, but I love the brocade in the neutral colors but the freshness of blue. I love how you could skew toward black or silver or pastels, so several seasons of use. You can go dressy or combine with denim/ T shirt. shirt. I can't tell about the jacket,so defer to fabber opinions. The key for me would be whether it looks really good with some other bottoms or over a dress, so it won't just stay in the closet.

Today reading a recent issue of Lucky magazine on the treadmill at the gym, I saw a print suit that reminded me of this one. Wear the pants and jacket together and be cutting edge.
