Good Morning All!

So... the Cole Haan Alisa oxfords are here and nearly perfect in every way. Comfy, lovely construction with full leather lining. Yippee!

My only question surrounds the fact that most of the ladies I have seen sporting oxfords with shorts and skirts have a tan or brown (warm) tone to them instead of the cool light gray tone these have (intended to go better with the cool grays, blues and purples of most of my wardrobe (pic 3).

Last night I was a bit hesitant whether the cool gray looked okay against bare legs (probably not with these particular shorts but wanted to show my skin color), today I am thinking "yes, it works" but I would love more feedback.
