On a serious note, both the pants and the jacket fit you PERFECTLY! and I can sooooo see that jacket with your silver skinnies, leather skinnies, etc. and the galazy pants with your Theory jacket and Gidigio boots....good grief...the possibilities are ENDLESS!

As for all together as a suit - YES YES YES!!!!

But, seriously, I can see why you fell for it. Wearing the pieces separately would tone the jacket and pants down quite a bit and would be quite a bit of fun to style. But, I can see real possibilities for the total outfit the next time someone sends one of those "festive casual" dress invitations. And, if there is one person who could pull off a military galactic tuxedo, it would be "Una_verse", Galactic Warrior Princess...

If it didn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd be tempted to keep it.

It was relatively cheap for a suit - it's from Topshop. It's out there but not as out there as I expected. Or maybe I have lost it!

The pants are awesome, and I love the whole look in #4. From the side, though, the stripe makes the whole thing look more athletic than tuxedo-y to me.

I actually really like it. If you wear it as separates I think it could work as everyday wear. Plus, you are the one person here who has actually BEEN to the oscars, so you might actually have the opportunity to wear it.

It does fit well, and I could see you styling each piece separately, but... both pieces together.....well, it's a little too disco fever / Star Wars for me. But you look like you're having a great time wearing it, so put on Return of the Jedi, turn up the Bee Gees on the 'ol 8-track, and enjoy!

I have returned the Gap blazer, the Yoox boots, and other items never even seen here... I see the costume aspect but I always feel best with a little theatrics. I feel like a Peter Gabriel video and don't mind!

Yowza! The print is (I am trying not to say far out....) a little crazy, but in a cool way. The tuxedo stripe is very cool and both pieces seem to fit you beautifully I can totally see these working as separates in every day life (especially the jacket) and together for specific/special occasions. I think I must insist that you wear this to the premier of the next Star Trek movie - and I say that as a lifelong trekkie!

LOVE this!!!! On you, esp. w/Una green! And. so. much. better. than. the. preppy. jacket. Of course, you couldn't wear the suit to a terrestrial court, but I think you have that capsule covered. I sure hope you keep these. After all, both are statement pieces on their own so you wouldn't have to fuss with jewelry or a scarf to amp them up. Wearing them together would be hard, true, but separately would be so much fun!
