K/R Orange pants

I've been wanting to try some orange pants, so I picked these up at JJIll. It's not my normal shopping destination, but I just happened to see these as I was passing through. I liked them because they're a more subdued orange (I'm not a fan of brights). They look pretty good from the front and side, but the back view seems a little baggy and unfab. Opinions?

Hmm, I see what you mean. Could you try 1 size down for comparison? Also, if they stretch at all you will find them very loose.
I love the color and the front view, btw.

I think they look good! I love the bright rust colour and the fit seems good. I don't think they look baggy from the back - but I also don't have a great view of your bum! From what I can see though, KEEP!

Oh, I like these! Great color. I am not sure if these are a tad too big, or if I am just so use to seeing tight skinnies that normal straight legs look "loose."

What Claudia said. I think you could size down if they are comfy - would they stretch?

Hmm. I'm really wishing I'd tried a smaller size now. The next size down would have been a smaller size than I've ever worn in pants, so I think I had a mental block against them and assumed they would be too small.

Maybe I'll stop by the store tomorrow and try the smaller ones. It's really hard to predict how much these will stretch. They're 99% cotton and 1% lycra/spandex.

How about tossing them in the drier...or will they shrink too much in the length?

I like this color a lot, and I do think a size down would be good. ! I feel fairly certain the fabric will bag out... but I also feel prettty sure that they will wrinkle easily. I know that wasn't part of your k/r question, but I've got it on the brain after so many pants trials and errors.

I'm about sworn off straight leg jeans at the moment because they fit exactly like this on me as well (always always too loose in the bum and thigh, and I am NOT slim in those areas!). I second the thought of trying a size down, I think you'd get lots of use out of these if the smaller size fits you!

I agree on sizing down, although these could look fantastic with a killer pair of heels or ankle boots, on this size. I would not like the fit too much if you were to tuck these into boots IMO. Otherwise I'm loving the color.

I'd agree with the other posters and suggest you try a size down. The seat is definitely a bit baggy and they WILL stretch when you wear them.

I think the color is beautiful on you and the cut! You look so slim in them . Can you just wear them around the house for awhile and see if they seem to stretch? If they do stretch then sizing down sounds like a good idea. But from the photo they look like they fit you very well.

I love the color, almost more of a rust or tobacco. Hmm, would be lovely with blues, turquoise, etc.

I see what you mean out the fit. It depends on your preference. I have some straight jeans that fit more like this that I wear over slim boots of flats, but you may want to size down if you want to tuck them into boots.

I think these look good. But sometimes, only trying on the next too-small size will make you realize that you have the perfect fit!
