I say these are both keepers. THe dress is all sorts of fabulousness and I love the jacket equally as well. My take on the back is that while you're in movement or sitting, it's not really going to matter, is it? I'm a little more forgiving of back fit issues than front... unless of course we're talking pulling because it's too small, but that doesn't seem to be the issue here.

Well, it's easy to follow Angie's comment because now I have the *answers*, but I was going to say that I love the red dress on you, too! Color: fab. Cut: fab. Length: fab. Legs: a mile long! I just with I could see you twirl around in it!

The jacket fits like a dream, and though the vent separating in back gave me pause, it will look fine in motion and open in front. It is a miniscule thing and if you got the larger size, the whole blazer would have to be remade to fit you as well as this one does. Wear in good health, and Happy Birthday, dear Sveta!

I like the jacket too - nothing exciting but a great fit and nice workhorse. I've had it in my wishlist forever.

I actually believe that for the vent in the back of this jacket to lie perfectly closed, the wearer would need to be extremely slim-hipped, or the jacket would be too big. I think it's just the way it's cut.

First of all thank you for your birthday wishes, you really brought tears to my eyes and made me feel special. It is so great to have so many friends on YLF!

After your united accolades to this dress it feels that even thinking about returning it would be a crime so I am cutting off the tags! I even thought of wearing it tomorrow but weather interfered. I hope I can wear it on Thursday (you know I am on the Team Wear Now, right?) AJ, I am already working on creating occasions to wear this dress out!
I will keep the tags on the jacket a bit longer and play with it in my closet. If it works well with my existing wardrobe I will keep it. I think the way slit was coming apart in the picture was because of the way I was standing: I don't see this in the mirror at all. This jacket fits well in the hips, not too tight at all so I think it should not be a problem. I am going to wear it open most of the time. It may be a bit big in the chest, I will consult with my mom if it can be altered but it is not too bad as is.
My biggest concern was if it is too short on the back as it is definitely shorter on me than on the model. However Angie blesses it so it must be fine! I think I should take QM's approach and begin to be a bit more relaxed about my rear view
