K/R: Ooh, shiny

I had some credit on Twice so I ordered this silver BCBG sweater to try (and some jeans that are going back because they didn't fit well). I like it a lot but I wonder if I'm having sugar eyes and should think twice due to, among other things, the dolman sleeves which aren't the most flattering for me. I would really appreciate any feedback.

1/2 - styled more dressy with a pencil skirt and heels
3 - a better shot of the actual color
4/5 - with my Asos peg pants and pointy flats
6 - casual with cropped jeans and flats

I love it but I think it may be a little to short? Or else not slouchy enough? It doesn't look to be a 10 . The magpie in me wants it to work!

Yeah, I wondered about the length too. If I had a magic wand I would stretch it just a couple of inches.

Silver is a lovely colour on you, especially with the teal in the skirt you are wearing. A great soft combination. Can I be honest though and say the finishing on the band at the bottom is not looking great?

I think the length works well with the skirt. I'd like it a bit longer with the pants. I think the dolman sleeve works great here.

You got me with 'ooh shiny'! I think it's length is an issue. Not cropped, nor long enough, just kind of in between. The sleeves seem fine and I love the idea of a shiny silver sweater.

I don't mind the length with the skirt and the color combo is gorgeous with that teal. I do find it short to wear with pants though.

Thanks, all. Leaning toward returning now, as it needs to be versatile enough to be worn with pants as well as skirts.

It's beautiful with the skirt. I think it's too short for pants, though.

LisaP might be referring to the welt -- it looks a bit wrinkled or wonky in the pics, but that might just be from packing?

I think it is to short with tuners, but it works with skirts. I rally want it to wok as I am a magpie at heart, but if you ant it to wear with trousers as ell as skirts, it may not be the right sweater.
