k/r "nude" shoes

ok, now don't laugh, but i want an opinion on these shoes. are these too "nude"? i've owned "nude" colored shoes before, but these are the closest to my actual skin color. plus i think the fact that they are a flat, and now i'm questioning if they get lost. does that make sense?

The color looks dead on to me . Close to your skin tone , yet the shape of the shoe is still definable ( the shoes are great btw) .

Deborah, hmmm, they are the color that my hair was last summer, for winter this year, i went darker and reddish. but my hair guy and i have been talking about going blonder for summer.

I think the shoes are great and, if comfortable, should be very useful in a summer wardrobe.

But, I also think your question about getting "lost" is more about proportions and how to style shoes and ankle or cropped pants.
So, a nude shoe with an ankle pant (can't quite tell where these fall, from the photos) introduces a certain "amount" of leg-foot-line contrasting with black pants that's different from a skirt or shorts or scrunched pants and different from the effect black shoes with medium to high vamp would look That may make the pant length and color more key to giving you the contrasts and proportions that look best to you (or if trying to emulate a particular style trend).
You might try playing around with other outfits, pant lengths, pant colors.

unfrumped, excellant points. the 1st picture was with cropped pants that hit well above the ankle. but i have several that hit lower that i should try for comparision.i'll also try with shorts. the 2nd was with my lounge wear this morning as i was trying to decide what to do.

Yeah - I'm with Denise. They look cute - but its really hard to tell without seeing the rest of the outfit/body!

If the pic shows color accurately, I would say that they contrast enough not to "disappear."

Chadya - these are the Vince. I really like the fit of these, but overall I've found Vince footwear sizing to be very inconsistent.

They look great; did you end up keeping these? I'm always on the hunt for nude shoes (low heels at the moment) and if these fit well, and they look like they do, I say "keep."

Vickie- I ended up keeping them, and worn them out for the 1st time today. Very comfortable.
