K/R nude pumps?

Would these pumps pass as nude? It's hard to get the right colours, but imagine something in between #1 and #2. I think I'd say the colour is caramel, but is that ok as nude shoes?

They were 50% off and I know they are really comfy for hours. And nude pumps have been on my list for 2-3 years

They look close enough to me! And far better to have a pair of "nearly nude" shoes that are comfy and that you can wear for hours than a pair of "perfectly nude" shoes which absolutely cripple you. I think the principle of wearing nude shoes is to get a colour that looks like your skin tone from a reasonable distance, rather than one that is absolutely identical to your skin tone close up. Though I suppose it depends how scrupulous your perfectionist tendencies are.

I agree they look "nearly nude" and a lovely neutral color. If they are comfy (and on sale) I think you've got a keeper.

I think any colour shoe that is close enough to your skin tone can function as a "nude shoe", Harmonica, and this one seems to be doing the trick for you. The comfort factor definitely is a bonus in my book!

I think they look great! They look like a nice shoe too. And your legs may be a bit darker than your forearms, especially in summer.

I think #1 is as close as anyone would get to nude shoes; for many of us, our "nude" shoes only resemble, not match, our skin tone. Comfy and 50% off? Definitely a keep!

I'll keep these pumps, check off my wish list and wear them as soon as possible. it's still lots of snow and ice here, so I'll probably have to wait some months, but I'm ok with that knowing I'm covered when the right opportunity comes by

I thi k they work. H early, though, your skin looks two different color in the photos. Probably a trick of the lighting! Still, these are SO close, no one will notice. For me, living in the frozen tundra, my legs are actually paler than my arms. Not sure if this is true for you or not.

And comfort always wins in my book, especially for shoes.

Tanks for the support Thistle My legs are also paler than my arms and if this years summer will be like last years my legs will be covered with tights or trousers. But I might wear nude hose and nude pumps Hopefully, this years summer will be warm and summery so I won't need hose at all

@Thistle - I'm the same way. My arms are usually exposed while I almost always wear long pants, so my arms have a decent tan while my legs are white as a ghost.

The shoes look great Harmonic! It looks like you had some good luck shopping.
