k/r (not so) whackadoodle

after all the angst over k/rs and a new acronym system, i almost didn't post these. but i want your unbiased opinion especially over the jacket.

#1 whackadoodle for me--jersey one-sy. check out the rear and any cellulite ripple because this is super super stretchy and drapey.

#1 the silver sandals are non returnable and are here only so i am shod. feel free to comment anyway on those.

#2 ink jacket with a wool body and knit color block sleeves. too big? i've bought so many jackets in the past 4 weeks that i'm doubting myself.

#2 pointy toed dark grey booties. the shoes are also returnable but i'm leaning on keeping--does it go with black? it seems warm toned to me and hard to wear with my cool blacks.

for the clothing, i may have designer sale googles.

I really want to like the onsies, but the side view is giving me pause.
I love the sandals.
I like the jacket and I like that's it's big.
The shape of the booties is great, but yeah they're warm. I have a pair of warm grey Frye ankle boots, and I just don't wear them.

Love the booties. The jacket looks too big; I vote return. Can't tell much about the onesie since it's black and I can't differentiate its features on my monitor. How do you feel in it?

Honest? Your body is rockin', but the outfits aren't and the silver sandals are distracting with this outfit, but might be fine with others. That said, there is something intriguing about the blue/ black combination that I'm thinking you should explore.

that side view is actually better than i had feared and better than some of the wrinkling that some of my waxed jeans have caused!

must rethink my size in jeans?!?

I love the footwear. The onesie is nice everywhere except the middle - just kind of drapes and droops, maybe with a contrasting belt? I think jacket is too big, from the back it is very boxy, and you are too foxy to look boxy. Love the colours and the blocking though.

The boots are super-fabulous. What are they? The color is great as a color, does it work with white?

I am unconvinced by the onesie but might feel differently if I saw it styled how you plan to wear it.

I think it's just that I prefer jumpsuits and their ilk baggy. Personal preferance.

I am probably the only one, but I kind of like the onesie. And the extra drape in the middle is intentional so that it isn't skin-tight all over, IMO. Black is very forgiving, and I can see no cellulite or rippling whatsoever. But the sandals don't necessarily go with it. And I really like the jacket, but it looks too big. The booties rock.

The booties are gorgeous assuming the height gives you no problems; no advice re color. Love the style, but the blocked jacket seems like it is 1/2 size too big. Sorry; I'm not feeling the onesie. Back in the day, I owned a couple of jumpsuits and found them such a PITA when I had to go to the bathroom so that could be coloring my opinion.

Onsie? Does this mean you have to unsnap to go to the bathroom (thinking of a baby onsie here). If this is the case, I would return on the whole bathroom thing. Otherwise, this has a baggy fit, like Anna said. Personal preference, but it does fit you as it should. I am still learning to like baggy.

Like the shoes, all of them. Not sure of the silver sandals with this outfit, but a silver belt might pull the color in.

Doesn't everyone need a great onesie? I can't imagine anything more comfy, as long as the rise is good! I would like to see the larger size for comparison. Perhaps a little overexposure in the photo would make it easier to see the details.

I love both pairs of shoes, and I'd encourage you to be free and not worry about "warm or cool" in neutrals like this.

I love the colors and the modern details for you, but I'd like for the structure to follow your form a little more.

I think the onezie would look a whole lot more fun and fashion forward if it was baggier - and then worn with a belt.

LOVE the sandals and the shooties.

The jacket looks a little long for your petite height. The boxy shape is actually very on trend!

#3: I have something of a poison eye for onesies simply on account of associations and practicality and all that -- but surprised myself by quite liking this one -- let's see it compared to the bigger one. But can you please tell me where one WEARS a onesie? (If that's not too many "ones" in a sentence.)

#4: Love the jacket and its colours but it seems a bit long.

#5: Gorgeous shoes. I am not sure about them working with black but are there other colours in the closet they work with well?

I'm loving both pairs of shoes! Would wear them in a moment!

I've never delved into the realm of a onesie or even a jumpsuit for that matter. I'm intrigued but would lie to see the size up. The jacket is beautiful but maybe a touch big an mentioned previously. Such fun K/Rs!

The shooties are awesome!!

I'm divided about the onesie and the jacket. The bunching at the waist of the onesie is what I'm iffy about. The jacket also seems a little big, but that's kinda in.

I love both shoes, but the booties really look warm. They look brown to me actually. I like thidea of a onesie, but I think a baggier one would be cooler. I can't decide about the jacket.
