K/R No. 2 Oversized Blouse

Here's the second purchase from today! I have been looking for something to wear with this red skirt. What do you think of this blouse?

I would also wear the blouse over my red jeans.

Sorry my shoes aren't done up! I'm lazy :). I don't think I would wear the red shoes.

Once again your honest feedback appreciated. I feel so bored with what I'm seeing in the stores I am lacking perspective lol.

I think it would be difficult to belt a high low blouse like this...I assume we are talking waist surrender, at least some, with these types of shirts

Yes Jayne I wouldn't belt this. It's the high low hem that appeals and the waist surrender:)

I like the high low hem on the blouse. Really great! But I feel the print is a bit overwhelming and I don't find the print sophisticated either. Sorry, but you are too fab

Love ikat prints! I think the only problem may be the bigger print is not centered on the front-it's a bit awkward placed to side, not like on the back where is OK, for me. I love the hi-los, but think this one it's a bit too big -ovehelming- your figure, cut could follow your slim figure closer a bit, and why not belting, after all? would it be a fashion faux pas to do a high-low peplum effect if wanted?
BTW the colour combo with the red skirt and mary janes is perfect ngie say.

I don't care for the print placement on the front, and I think it kind of overwhelms you...I know it is supposed to be oversized but it dwarfs you.

Although I like the hi lo hem and the loose fit, I am not sure about the print. The shoes are too cute btw.

I love it! I know it's big and busy, but I love it on you. I think the fact that it's so much shorter in the front saves it. And the red midi is fab! The blouse would be great with jeans too. So sorry to hear the spring lines aren't inspiring you.

It is alot of pattern but I love it on you Deborah! I think it pairs smashingly with the red skirt and I like the hi-low shape of it. I'm wondering if the back is just a little too long? I know Angie had pointed that issue to me on a hi-low blouse I have and I'm getting the back shortened by an inch and a half - it will still give me a hi-lo hem but one that doesn't completely cut my legs off. But I could be completely wrong on the length issue so wait and see what Angie says.

I like the idea of it, but with the large print and the oversized fit it looks a little overwhelming to me.

The concept and the outfit combination here is 100% smashing on you, Debs! But do feel that the back hemline is too long for your petite height. I'd love to see a size down as that might do the trick!

Shannon you are clearly an excellent student and Angie thank's for confirming re the length at the back, and I am thrilled you think is could work.

I picked up the smaller size on my way to work today and will try it tonight and take a picture for comparison to show you and see if it is better.

Just thought I would pop back to let you know I did try the size down. But it just doesn't look right to me. It is a bit shorter at the back which is better but it also looses a little bit of length at the front which is just not working for me. I did take some photos but forgive for not posting as I am not happy with the overal look.

I do actually have a really nice animal print blouse that will work with the red skirt. It's not a high low hem but the rounded style that Angie blogged about recently. Will get it a spin and see how it works.
