Suz, how funny is that about the name of the shoes? Thank heavens they didn't put my name on something I wouldn't want to wear! Good question about the pink jacket. I'll have to look at it tomorrow.
Thanks, KG. The first two feel a bit mild compared to the other 3, but there are certainly times I need to be a bit more conservative. Glad they work.
Thanks, Carambola and Golden!
Carolbee, I think you nailed it. I have conservative dresses and I have loud dresses. I go through phases, and of course, dress for the occasion, but the loud ones feel fresher to me right now.
The heat worries me too, Marmee. I think any of these will be cooler than the black and white one though. Even though they have sleeves, they are very lightweight. The black and white one is thick and heavy. Glad you like the black shoes too. I love them. Unfortunately, they are a holdover from my days of heels. They're 2" and the doc said no dice, except for special events. I think a college graduation qualifies:-)
Thanks for the insight, Gigi. I'm still not completely sure what stays yet. I have tried every dress silhouette over the years, and the only two that feel like me are the sheath and the shift. I have several sheath dresses in solid dark colors and a couple shifts in bold patterns. I wore one of the shifts on Sunday, and found myself telling my husband I wish I had a dozen of them. I'll have to think it through.
No one picked #4. That's DH's favorite...I assume it's the cleavage. I'm pretty sure I'll keep that one for date nights:-)
Thanks so much for all the feedback!
