K/R: Neutral Sandals

Some sandals I ordered from The Bay arrived and I am having a hard time forming an opinion about them. What do you think? I was really hoping for something covered up in a greige colour, but have had a hell of a time finding something I like. I ordered a pair that was (of course) perfect from an ebay seller a while back but they arrived in poor condition and had to be returned. Here is what I have:

1. Style & Co's Edith in Brown (1 and 4)
2. Franco Sarto's Game in Nude (2 and 5)

I am hoping for something I can get away with wearing with black/grey dress pants, jeans, and skirts. What do you think?

I like them both. Do the first ones fit your foot a little better? It doesn't look like your toes come all the way out of the peep toe in the nude ones, but it's hard to tell.

Claire: Yes, you may be right. When I walk around the house a bit in the FS wedges my toes end up where they are supposed to be.

Shannon: Glad to hear it! I like them in theory but am not sure on the foot... I just don't know if they're "me"

Overall I am wondering if I might be better served with something in a less trendy style, like

I just don't know. It's frustrating because I could really use a lighter, neutral sandal!

I prefer the look of the Franco Sartos, like Shannon, and they do seem more covered up like you want; but do slightly suspect the Edith is a better fit, as Claire does, and I thought it very pretty on your foot. No help, am I?

I like how the Nude color works with your skin tone on the Franco Sartos, but only you know how the fit feels and rather you want your toes peeping out.

I personally *love* #2, and since they are nude on you they should work for all the combinations you mentioned.

I truly like both shoes and you have great peds, but if you have to choose only one, the FS, with the nude color, may take you farther in your clothing choices. Does the first one come in greige?

Both work, but for black pants I prefer the first, darker pair.

I like them both! I prefer #1 but #2 is more covered up, since you want that.

I like #2 to go with the colors you have but also the 2nd of the ones you link too would be great for that. I hesitate with peep toes myself because they seem so tight on toes by mid day but they look very modern and updated on your feet.

I bought and returned #2, despite getting YLF approval. The peep to opening is too big so they looked a little odd to me, when wearing pants. Im a special case though since all of my shoes need to work with both pants and skirts, since I travel a lot for work and hate to take multiple shoes. Sometimes I make do with one pair of work shoes for the entire 5 day work week.

I like #1.

WOW - they are both gorgeous. I'd keep them both, but if you've got to choose one, I'd say #1. BUT then again, the Sartos would be better with black dress pants. Ahh- no help, sorry Emily! Perhaps #2 is more versatile.

#1 is my favorite. The shape of that shoe on your foot is soooo pretty and I like the color against your skin.
