K/R Navy jacket

I am on the hunt to start a navy capsule since I am going more blues... Which option do you think.. jacket mainly for work

This is the picture from the website, do you think this is versatile/contemporary etc. I do have something somewhat similar in black which works ok. This one is a lighter fabric and we are coming into Australian summer here but would be ok with a warmer top under for winter (the day we have)

The other option is a classic navy but this is in linen and I feel it wont go the distance for all year round... yet also be too heavy looking for hot summer

And I just then found another one... I quite like the style of this one but again it is in linen ... and I could buy a full 'suit' with pants etc with this one...

Jen I love the Trenery jacket. I agree this would be more versatile. It also looks a little more interesting to me. I have to be honest and disclose that's I don't enjoy linen garments so that has swayed me a little. I'm just watching the "Today" show and one of the hosts is wearing a fabulous color block black and vp blue jacket:)

Sorry to sound like a negative Nancy......I tried the Trenery jacket & didn't like the cut. The fabric wasn't very good quality either imo. I do love linen but wouldn't have bought it for work.

No I am not much of a one for linen as I dont like the crushy look... Will hold out for the good one. I have to say I love the look of trenery but have been disappointed with most of my purchases alas... think this was a case of distance, fond hearts etc

I'm sure it's out there. I saw some navy jackets in David Jones but I didn't stop to look so not sure of the fabrics. Cue had some but I'm fairly sure they were linen & Jaquie had some 3/4 sleeve ones that were rayon - they didn't crush.
