K/R Naturalizer Loafers

I got these shoes for $15 at DSW today - they're super comfy but I've never worn loafers before. Are they worth keeping? If so, what can I wear them with? Can I wear them with business skirts and pants or are they more causal?

Please help!

Honestly, they look a little grandmotherly to me. I think it's the high vamp and the color. It's a great price, but I would return. Sorry

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with returning. They're a great price, but they don't have that pizzazz. How do you feel about them?

They are a good looking shoe but as others have said they look a bit "old" . I'm not sure they reflect the current look in loafers.

Ok, thank you all! I liked them with jeans but wasn't sure if I could get any other use out of them. It's a different style for me, so I wasn't totally convinced if they right or not. What other loafers are more current and might work better for me?

I think I see where you were going with this loafer that is a bit more streamlined and less clunky to go with a business skirt. But Naturalizers never seem to have a sophisticated look. Have you thought about a smoking slipper instead?

you cannot go wrong, at any age, with the boat loafers, like you might get from sebago

or gold loafers, check out Kari's post from today,

Thank you all, I ended up returning them today. I will keep my eye out for another pair that catch my eye.

I haven't thought about a smoking slipper. I'll have to look for those as well as check out Kari's loafers. Thanks again!
