The burgundy jacket is gorgeous . FWIW smooth leather and kids mix well, suede not so. Trust me.

Oh I hope the burgundy one fits because I think that would be a 10++++ for you, both in color and in style.

I've said it before, but I sure like that Mr. Thistle! He is a gem.

I like the black jacket, smaller size. I'm amazed at how beautifully it fits--shoulder, bust, waist, hips, sleeves--who can ever get such a great fit all over? Those knit insets are genius, aren't they? I don't think the neckline will date, as it's a classic, but the cut of this one is a little hard to style, in my opinion. I'd say the black jacket is a 9 for you.
I am very eager to see the burgundy jacket on you, though, because I think the color and neckline might both be better.

You look gorgeous in this jacket. Leather is eminently practical. I say go with the smaller one.

I, frankly, lean towards the black. But will wait politely to see the other colour. I feel it doesn't do to be too sweet... but of course, I'm dark and spooky

I don't think this is too rugged. It actually has a feminine, delicate vibe to my eye because there are not a lot of bells and whistles or zig zag zippers on this piece.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I wear leather jackets and I have two little ones. Don't worry!

But to be completely honest I'm secretly watching to see the burgundy one. I have a feeling it might be out of this world on you. Can't wait to see it!

I like it on you with pants but I do think it looks too long with your dress. To me black is so basic that I wouldn't worry about that but, like others, am waiting to see the burgundy one on you!

I don't guess you need another comment, but depending on comfort, the small is very flattering! I really love this on you...but I'm a fan of black.

Then I saw the red one and almost drooled. Wow! You are going to have a tough decision!

The burgundy color is going to be incredible on you, but I don't think it has those same stretchy panels. I hope the fit is as good as the black one has! Fingers crossed!

I LOVE the smaller black jacket on you. There is absolutely no reason that a black leather jacket cannot go with a lady-like style, and I think it looks polished and has just enough edge to make it interesting. That might be why your DH likes it! I definitely think you should keep it.

Oh, I really hope the burgundy jacket works out for you. I bet it will be stunning!

Ooh Thistle! I bought that burgundy jacket too! I hope it works out for you--we can be leather jacket twins! How fun! Yay Mr. Thistle!
