Both of these tops have high necks which isn't my most flattering look so I am putting it to the forum.

1-2-3: Fuchsia pink peplum top. Surprisingly good quality for the price. Size XS
4-5-6: Same top, size S.
Which size do you prefer, if either? I have avoided the peplum trend, it's not really me is it? But I couldn't resist this. Still, I don't know.

7: Printed top with interesting red bands on the side. I like the print and the pop of red, prints are fun because then I can pattern mix.

Is any of this worth keeping? Thanks.

extra small for sure...you look voluptuous. the printed top is fun too, it reads as a neutral to me.

the smaller size is better, definitely. More waist definition, which to me is the point of a peplum top. I'm not sure how I feel about the double hem on that top, though--maybe it's my own self consciousness speaking, since i'm wide of thigh. Love the color and the waist definition, though.

I like the second top, though it's not as "wow" as the first one.

I think the xs is the better fit, on the small the back seems too big near the shoulders. The colour is divine - I hope you keep it. I love the colour and fit of the second top, although it's quite short. Not sure if that's a deal breaker for you, but it would be a nice layering piece.

Gorgeous top Denise - love the peplum and the back zipper detail. I actually like the size small - I think it hangs and drapes a bit better.

I like the xs, is there any chance it will shrink though? Is it 100% cotton or anything shrink able in the dryer? If yes I may say the s just because for me I'd be lazy and shrink it. But if not, go with the xs.

I like the top with red stripes too, it's fun and cute!

Wow! You look stunning in this colour. And weren't you telling me you thought you were better in salmon toned pinks? Hmmm. Maybe we should revisit that idea.

I prefer the size S, but I would go by how you feel. It's gorgeous and even though I know it's not your usual style, it's so lovely on you. I also really like the other top a lot.

And the BOOTS!!! Can I wrestle you for those? Sigh....they are so fab.

I vote S. If the XS shrinks a mm, it's toast. Which size feels better? KILLER peplum look, Denise!

The peplum is really nice, I think the asymetric layer is what makes it. Like the black one too!

I also prefer the S for the peplum top. It's the overall look, the shoulder fit, and the length that make the difference to my eye. And that pink is fabulous on you, Denise! The second top is nice, but not as eye-catching as the peplum, which is okay sometimes.

Love the peplum in the XS. Having seen and purchased the item myself in black, I believe it is synthetic and will not shrink in the wash at all (though I will have to double-check the tag).

Adore the asymmetric peplum,very unique and flattering. Think the xs is a good fit. Also like the print top, the red bands are a cool detail. I have the r&b newbury boots also. Love them, they are the most comfortable boots I own.

This color is one of the BEST on you - just absolutely beautiful - and it makes me understand more about your question on your other thread about whether or not the black and white is washing you out! I think the XS is much more flattering on you than the S - it gives you a fantastic hourshaped figure - and I LOVE the double assymetrical peplum - gives it a lot more interest than just a regular one - and also, makes it more "Denise-like." I also like the 2nd top - but the 1st one is taking all of my attention away from the 2nd one!

I vote for size S in the red top. The looser fit looks more adult and modern, whereas the XS borderlines on a juniors department look.

Amazing! These tops are stunning on you. Both the S and XS look good on you, but I prefer the S by just a smidgen. I may have to take another look at the website.

Love the first top, Denise. it creates a great hourglass look and can be dressed up or down. I looked at the collection at Kohl's but nothing worked for me, so I'm glad to see it on you.

The XS feels fusty to me. Wandering into Charity Chair territory.

The second top looks great too. Very sporty.

Thanks for all of the responses. The opinion on the top's sizing is equally divided 8 to 8. I prefer the fit of the top from the side in the size S. But I prefer the front in the XS because there is waist definition. The other issue is there is a flaw on the S, like a nick that will turn into a hole quickly. I'm not sure I want to buy a top that may be unwearable very soon. (The nick is right smack on my bust, potentially very visible.)

Crazyone I was also concerned about where the top ends and in that regard, since the XS is shorter, I think it is more flattering (it doesn't en-widen my rear the same way the S does).

I'm going back to see if there's another unflawed S (there wasn't when I was there last week). If there isn't, I could wear a smoothing tank with the XS underneath, combined with my most minimizing bra.

Denise the peplum top is gorgeous and I think this still looks very 'you' either size works for me as I don't see a huge difference between the sizes and Angie does make a good point re possible shrinkage.

I really like the printed top however my eye is still very used to a slightly longer length.

I like the larger size much better. It drapes nicely over your curves rather than constraining them like a bandage. That pink is flattering on you.

Man, that peplum is brilliant on you, Denise! I'm torn about the sizes though --- I like the waist definition in XS, but I actually prefer the length of the S in the side view... and I see you find just the opposite yourself, which preference is certainly worth greater weightage!

I do worry about what Angie said though---will it shrink or will it stretch out? At least it is relatively easier to deliberately shrink the bigger one if you decide it should be...

And I love the second top too; just that the peplum overshadows it. I'd be cheering up and down for it in a standalone thread, I suspect
