This Vince Camuto maxi dress would be great (and it's on sale), but I have the feeling it's too short on me? It's regular sizing but looks like it's cut for someone petite (I'm 5'5"). It has a supportive top with wide straps and isn't pastel which is why I chose it. I think I could probably let out the hem maybe 1/2 to 1 inch but is it still too short? It hits a couple of inches above the ankles. It feels like shortening to a midi would defeat the purpose of buying a maxi dress. Is this wearable for MOTG (like with a denim jacket) or work (with a black leather jacket) or is it strictly vacation wear? Should I let out the hem, or shorten, or just give up and return it?
