K/R: Long sleeve tops

I struck out at the mall when I went looking for long sleeve tops to wear under jackets. Imagine my surprise to find these at Target. These are unstyled--I just put them on with what I wore today. I think the first two are keepers (pretty basic) but I'm not sure about the other two. If you do like them, do you prefer one color over the other? (The green is a L and the rust is a M.) They are like polyster chiffon sweatshirts--high low hem. I could wear them into fall with a black cami. Too weird? TIA!

ETA: The dark sweatshirt is 100% cotton, size L (raglan sleeve, cut reminds me of the Gap mesh sweater.) The long sleeve tee is M, poly/rayon blend.

I love both 3 and 4. I prefer the smaller size on you. I think both colors are smashing on you.

#1 is a good basic as well. I'm not loving #2, sorry.

I am so jealous of this Target thing you USA fabbers have got going on this week! Sheesh. I visited our newly opened Target and talk about a terrible shopping experience. Yikes.

I LOVE the green top. Prefer the size of the red, and like the red, too, but the green is super. I also love the sweatshirt on you.

I love your first two and the green one (#3) - I don't see a big difference in the sizes.

Good score! I like the size of the rust because you are wearing BFs, but the larger size might look terrific with a more form fitting bottom. I like both the teal and the rust for you. These all have great necklines; they show off your pretty collar bones.

Did you say Target? I've been looking for layering tops for blazers. I like all of these, but I prefer the green to the red one for 3/4, because I think the green will work well with your new green booties!

I think you did really well with these - I agree with others that both colors are nice in 3/4 with a slight preference for the size of the rust. If they only had L in the green I think I'd still keep it. That first sweatshirt style looks like some I recently ordered (still haven't got) from the Gap and I really hope they look as good as this does on you!

I'll be the outlier. I love both 1 and 2 on you. The color, loose but clean shape, and simplicity of both are flattering. You look marvelous in both, with the focus on you and not the clothes, which I think is what makes something flattering in the end.

3/4 are more difficult. The smaller size seems better. There's nothing glaringly wrong with either--it's a cute top-- but little things that make them less friendly on you, to my eye. The print seems a touch large for you, the boxy pattern making the oversize style read as boxy rather than flowy on you. The sheerness would bother me without a cami-not sure if you like or dislike extra layers under your blouses. There's just the tiniest bit too much going on to make this a slam dunk for me. I would say somewhere between 6 and 8 versus 9-10. But that's my eye. If you feel awesome in this top, nothing I've said is big enough to make up for that.

I like #1 best, Kelly. Beautiful fit and shade. An 11 out of 10.

I'm going to be a spanner though. (I am an absolute stickler for fit). I'm going to suggest returning the rest.

#2 - the dropped shoulder and scoop neck make your strong shoulder line look wider. See how stunningly that raglan sleeve in #1 narrows the shoulder line. It truly is a magical silhouette.

#3 and #4 - just not a flattering oversized fit, although #4 is better. It's okay, but not fabulous.

Of course, you are free to keep and love as you wish, Kelly. It's just my 2 cents. xo
