Angie made the point that these Sailor Stripe pants needed to be worn long, so I exchanged the petite Julie fit (which was a tad big) for a misses Marisa fit and hemmed them for heels (I figured I wasn't going to be wearing them anywhere I wouldnt be sitting a lot., and I'm trying to look tall). While in LOFT, I saw this wine blouse on big markdown - it isn't a petite so the hem and sleeves are a tad long. Should I keep or return?

If Keep, is there a way to tuck that doesn't stumpify me and my very short waist. Or is untucked OK? It hides the sailor detail on the pants, but I still like them.

In digging thought the closet, I found the corporate shoebox from my late 90's life with navy pumps and horrible brown loafer heels. But the block heels looked reasonably current and they are both wide width so I polished the navy and experimented with Tarrago Shoe dye/paint on the loafer. The now burgundy pumps will probably be what I wear to a casually dressy dinner tomorrow instead instead of the blue pumps.

1-2 K/R tucked and untucked, and how should I style if I keep?
3 Navy Cashmere sweater with pearls for Angie (doubled long strand and a single).
4 the navy pumps I haven't worn in at least 13 years - couldn't model the DIY, as they are still drying)
5 Before and one coat after of Tarrago Burgundy Self Shine
6 The Finished DIY - $8 dollars later. We will see how they hold up, but The shoes were going to be donated so no loss. Lots of great advice in old YFL threads on this process!

Thoughts? Are the shoes current enough to salvage? Styling suggestions?
