So ventured out to the Rack sale because Fabbers were hauling back awesome stuff. Found this Lamarque jacket - very soft leather, lighter than coats I currently have so would get a lot of use (I don't have a leather jacket). I tried on many options and Mr. Rabbit was very insistent and enabling about this one.

But my questions are - is this the one? Feels good, but is there something I'm not seeing? Also -- for fellow sales/clearance/ebay shoppers, is this a good price or could I do better for something similar if I wait on it (retail was 595, sale price 135, plus 20 dollar Nordstrom note back).

#1 The jacket in question (I didn't have time to change out of leggings and shucked a bulky tunic, so hence the blurring). It wrinkles a little bit in the back when zipped closed, much less when open. I probably wouldn't zip it all the way up that often, it looks best with the lapels pointed outward a bit, which I didn't really photograph.

#2 The closest thing I have already - mixed media fauxleather moto - this is much warmer due to the lining, it's also big enough to go over sweaters, the leather jacket can go over thin sweaters, but not bulky ones. (This coat was very inexpensive and has already earned it's CPW). I like the asymmetrical zip on this, but on the other hand, it's nice to have two jackets that don't fasten the same way.
