So, I tried the LE dress that Dianthanus recommended. And, I picked up a few more *sigh* I am weak. But, at least I am supporting a local business! They are located about 2.5 hours from our house on the other side of the state, which means I get fast shipping

Pic#1 - The reviews all said this ran large, so I sized down. Not sure I should have. This is not a wrap dress. It just has the ballet top attached the skirt.

Pic#2 - this has aslip dress inside with an organza overlay.

Pic#3&4 - This is the dres Dianthanus recommended. LOVE the color. Wasn't sold ont he fit, so I tried it with a blue belt like they showed on the model. Still not really sure . . .

Give it to me straight. If none of these work for me, they will all go back, and I will divert those resources elsewhere!

Love #1! Not sure of the sleeves on #2, and the fit of #3 looks a bit off, like it's not sitting right. I often have that problem with inset waistbands. But then again, I have no waist. Love the color of #3 best though.

I have had my eye on 2&3 for awhile from LE. I love them on you. I love how the seaming and structure of #3 plays well with your curves. #1 I am not sure it enhances your coloring. The fit is fine -- it's the colors. #2 is very nice as well. I think you look great in greens and plums.

I vote for #1 and love the color of #3. Not sure about the fit, though. #2 is my least favorite.

I really like 1 and 2. 3 is pretty, but I really wish that they just had a single seam, rather than the double seam, at the waist. I like the focus of the belt with it, but I would try it centered in the middle rather than at the bottom of the panel. I don't know if that will work, though. Sometimes those double seams are trouble because they don't work with a belt high, low or middle. I'm also not keen on the little bit of sagging in the drape of the dress around your hip bone level. So, I'm kind of lukewarm on 3, but I could be convinced.

Ok, on the invitation to give it to you straight, I don't think any of these are good enough for you. #1 fits great, but IMO the print makes it feel a little bit dowdy. Just my opinion and may need a grain of salt, since I have strong opinions on every floral print I meet.

The belt is an issue with #3. As much as I love the color, I am leaning toward returning it. Getting the belt to stay put is not easy, and I feel like it unkind for figure flattery.

The color on #1 may not be ideal. It looked more green in the pictures, but it seems to have a lot of cream and yellow in it, neither of which are great colors on me.

The fabric of 3 is really nice, isn't it? The color is great on you, but something about the fit is just off, isn't it? Love the fit of 1 - do you think a colored cami might help make the dress color work better? Or maybe that is too much effort to "make" the dress work. I agree with Una about the sleeves of 2, although the color is nice.

I like #1 best, but agree with rae that none of these seem up to your current high standard.

I like #2, but I like your Nordie's haul better. I would keep #2.

Straight up - #1 is my favorite but I think you already have a few wrap styles and for that reason, I could see that you might pass on this one.
The others, IMO, are not as good as you deserve.

ps. are your flats from Franco Sarto? I think I have the same pair

I think the first dress is flattering but the others aren't, even though the colors look good on you.

I am with Rae on #1 - the fit is good, but the pattern and colouration is somehow aging. But I will break from the crowd and say that #2 is fabulous. I think it is flattering and youthful and fun, especially with summer coming up. The colour on the third is fab, and the fabric looks nice, but something about the fit isn't quite right. I think you can do better than #3.

The fit on #1 looks really good but the pattern/colours aren't working for me.

I appreciate all of your honesty! A bit of mixed reviews, but it does sound like they should all go back. Sad, really. All three of these dresses combined cost less than 1/3 of the blue one I am in love with. Figures, huh?

Probably a reason they were on sale.

Thistle, I own #1 and style it with a wide green belt and a blazer cut dark wash jean jacket. I think the drape of the dress is beautiful on your body, and I agree with all the other folks posting here that you do dark green beautifully

Can we get the fabric in dress #2 made in the style of dress #1? That would get my vote. The first one is the best cut for you IMO.
