I got on the bandwagon and ordered these.

I think I'm keeping them, they feel soft although I don't wear skinnies so often. Thoughts?

Also -- how dressy are they? Could they be business casual or are they more like jeans?

A little hard to tell cause of the lighting but seem good. I think they could go for either weekend or biz casual, depending on shoes and top. Blouse + dress shoes + jacket-work!

The pants definitely work in a business casual office.

If they are the Donnas, I have them and the fabric is smoother than most denim although they are Jean style. It may depend on how you style them. A blazer with them and blouse would be more business casual than a cardi and/or tee.

What I didn't expect (from the photo online at Nordstrom) is that they are a ponte type pant with the plaid "painted on".

Still, they are comfortable and have a lot of stretch. I could see styling them with a blazer for business casual...or t-shirt and cardi for walking the dog, MOTG etc.

Let me see if I can add some more photos in a little while with better light.

I'm treating them as business casual. I often wear ponte pants with a blouse and cardigan or blazer for days in the office where I won't see customers. I think these fit there.

Yes, you could totally put with a t shirt for weekend wear too.

I tried for those, and got redirected to a similar appearing pant from Wit and Wisdom, and that one is yarn dyed. And it will be work wear for me.

I didn't have any meetings and spent the workday with my team, so I took my own plaid Kut pants out for their first wearing today, on the relaxed (for me) side of business casual. Wore them with a nice-quality orchid-purple tee, a black tuxedo blazer, and black flats, and felt comfortable, appropriate, and a little bit rocker (and they could certainly be styled in plenty of other ways). I've decided I'm a fan of them.

it is not a jeans model, it will definitely work for business casual.

They are not business casual. They are CASUAL, and Smart Casual at best if you dress them up.

The KUT's look great from what I can make out from the pics, gardenchick.

I do management consulting with nonprofits. Roughly 2-3 days of the week I'm working at home at my home office, and 2-3 days a week I'm at client meetings, doing presentations or at networking meetings.

This may sound funny but the pants don't feel quite dressy enough for meetings and presentations, and yet feel too dressy for my WOH days (which involve walking the dog, cooking, etc.).

I have to think about this more.

I understand gardenchick because I also work mostly at home with occasional dressier office days! These might be weekend pants for me - date night, brunch with friends, etc.

I decided to send them back. They’re too edgy for me. My style is classic, sporty, feminine.
